The latest one, which is a $ 300 million dollar one was run by Elie Weinstein of Lakewood and had many community members as victims.
Heshy Friedman is a Professor at Brooklyn College and runs the Business Programs there. He has a doctorate in Business from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He created a course dealing with Jewish business ethics at Brooklyn College that is taught at several high schools as well.
Linda Friedman is a Professor and Associate Dean of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. It is the largest business school in the country. She has a doctorate in operations research from Brooklyn Polytechnic.
They have published numerous papers on subjects ranging from causes of the financial meltdown to the importance of voluntary simplicity, business ethics, corporate social responsibility.
