$3 million 'XXXtortion'
By JAMIE SCHRAM • New York Post
Some after-hours office hanky-panky got a Queens businessman into trouble when the owner of a surveillance company secretly taped him and tried to sell him the evidence for $3 million, authorities said.
Prosecutors said Hollis storage-facility owner Abraham Stern, 60, of Brooklyn, had contracted with Solomon Pollac, 59, also of Brooklyn, to install surveillance cameras at his business four years ago.
But Pollac ignored Stern's orders to keep cameras out of the office -- and instead kept a stream of XXX-rated videos showing Stern's office sex romps, according to prosecutors.
Pollac then tried to get Stern to cough up millions for the evidence. But Stern went to cops, who set up a sting Aug. 25, busting Pollac amid a cash exchange.
Pollac was charged with grand larceny by extortion and unlawful surveillance. His lawyer suggested Pollac may have been stressed by his wife's cancer battle.
