Rubashkin Trial Resumes This Afternoon

Trial postponed this morning because Rubashkin was still hospitalized.

According to the live blog of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier's Jeff Reinitz, Sholom Rubashkin was released from the hospital at about 8:30 this morning, but cannot be transported from Cedar Rapids to the Black Hawk County courthouse in time for the scheduled morning court session, so the trial resumes today at 1:00 pm.

Rubashkin was hospitalized last weekend for an infection reportedly caused by an insect bite.
