Boy, 1 of 15 siblings, falls out 2nd-story window
BY ALEX TAYLOR • JournalNewsMONSEY — Police are notifying Child Protective Services after a 7-year-old boy fell out of a second-story window at 21 Nissan Court shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the boy was only slightly injured in the 10- to 12-foot fall after he was apparently able to open an unsecured window next to his bed.
Sgt. Rob Lancia said the boy and 14 of his siblings had been left in the care of his father after his mother had been hospitalized earlier in the day.
"To have a kid fall out of window we want somebody to look into it," Lancia said. "We want to see if this a one-time accident or negligence."
