Dear Family, Friends, Neighbors and Caring People Worldwide,
You can help so easily!
We are launching a vital project in the days leading up to 22 Shevat. This is an opportune time to notify your community of the seriousness of R' Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin's situation.
We ask you to encourage your family, friends and neighbors to donate their scrap gold i.e. broken gold trinkets, odd gold pieces or outdated gold jewelry they no longer use. Please see the flier below for simple steps that will enable you to help.

The anonymous person who sent this story to me sees a link between it and the golden calf, which was made from gold collected from the women by Aaron:
And Aaron said unto them: ‘Break off the golden rings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.’ And all the people broke off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
That golden calf didn't work out very well.
