Dov Hikind To Announce New "Compromise" Child Sex Abuse Bill Weaker Than Markey

Hikind also touts $1.1 million grant from state to educate about sex abuse.

A friend writes:

I heard Dov Hikind speak last night in a shul in Belle Harbor [Rockaway, Queens. NYC]. He said he's about to announce a compromise bill (somewhere between Markey and Lopez).

And that he's received $1.1 million from Shelly Silver, Malcolm Smith and Governor Paterson for an education initiative to teach about sex abuse. He said everyone would be hearing about it in the next few days.

He also said, in response to a question, that "the rabbis in Torah Temimah will go to hell" and that he had "nothing good to say about Torah Temimah."
