Rubashkin, A.K.A. "Sam Sternberg," must report to federal prison June 24, 2009.
The federal sentencing guidelines call for 0 to 6 months.
Sholom Rubashkin (Jr.) would normally begin to serve his time in mid or late May. Judge James Knoll Gardner granted a slight delay because Sholom Rubashkin (Jr.)'s wife is expecting a baby in late April.
Rubashkin also faces 3 years of supervised release which can be served in Brooklyn and a $5,000 fine.
He also must do 250 hours of community service in Allentown.
He and his father Moshe paid restoration of $450,000, most to the EPA. Allentown got just over $53,000 of that.
There was also a $100 special assessment.
It has not yet been determined where Sholom Rubashkin (Jr.) will serve his prison time. His father Moshe is serving his in Otisville, NY.
