In other words, according to the government the OU's engineered and endorsed 'removal' of Sholom M. Rubashkin as Agriprocessors' CEO was a sham – just like we said it was. (And more.)
How should this impact Rabbi Menachem Genack, the CEO of OU Kosher who engineered this scam?
How should it impact the OU itself?
If it can be shown that Genack knew or reasonably should have known Sholom M. Rubashkin continued to run Agriprocessors, I think Rabbi Genack should be fired from the OU and from his Yeshiva University position.
As for the OU itself, unless massive restructuring of its operations – including the removal of Genack, Seth Mandel, Moshe Elefant and others – takes place, the OU should be viewed for what it would actually be: a corrupt, morally bankrupt organization whose kosher supervision is worthless.
