Jeff Abbas from Postville Radio writes:
I just found out this morning one of the gentlemen I spoke with who was here through One Force, has been sent home by the staffing company rep here in Postville.
In his words - "I found out who the squealer was and he's been taken care of".
I also confirmed most of the One Force people are not getting rides to and from work, nor are they receiving food and/or clothing from One Force.
In the words of another One Force employee, "I've been given an opportunity to get back to work and get my life back on track, but so much of my check is going back to One Force, I don't have enough left to buy food to live on for the rest of the week. If this is a fresh start, I'd rather be homeless and on the street."
I cannot begin to tell you how badly I feel for the gentlemen who was terminated because he spoke with me about the deprivation he was suffering with his One Force employ.
It is one thing to offer someone an opportunity to work (ostensibly for themselves) - it is something altogether different to offer a person a job and take the wages they earn just because you found them the job.
