Rabbi Jonathan Rosenblum continues to dig himself in deeper. A month ago, Rosenblum wrote an embarrassing column defending the haredi Rabbinic court judge who voided a woman's conversion 15 years after the fact and, at the same time, voided thousands of other conversions done by Rabbi Haim Druckman and other Modern Orthodox rabbis.
Now he has a post on Cross Currents defending his defense, attempting to explain his use of the Seidman and Langer cases to smear, through association, Rabbi Druckman.
As was noted here last month, Rabbi Rosenblum in effect works for Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. Rabbi Elyashiv was a party to the Langer case and his mistaken ruling was overurned by Rabbi Shlomo Goren. Rabbi Elyashiv considered Rabbi Goren when he was alive to be his bitter enemy. But Rosenblum did not disclose this connection until he was outed by bloggers and commenters on blogs like this one. But that "disclosure" is itself fraught with misstatements and misrepresentations of both halakha and historical fact.
Read Roseblum's defense of his defense on Cross Currents and then read the many comments attacking him there. I wrote last month that Rosenblum had done a despicable thing. He continues to do that despicable thing to this day.
