Mars Bars Treife, Manchester Beit Din Rules

That's right – the apparently haredi Manchester, England Beit Din has ruled Mars candy treife because of an animal-derived ingredient that according to halakha is clearly battel. The London Jewish Chronicle will have the story in tomorrow's paper. You can read our earlier coverage of this insanity, as well as comment, here. (I'm closing the comments for this post for housekeeping reasons.)
