Forward Story On Rubashkin Nominated For Prestigious Loeb Award

… given for best business writing. The piece, an exposé, In Iowa Meat Plant, Kosher ‘Jungle’ Breeds Fear, Injury, Short Pay, was written by Nathaniel Popper and deals with worker abuse at the Iowa plant that produces Rubaskin's, Aaron's Best, David's, Shor HaBor, Nathan's and other brands of glatt and non-glatt kosher meat.

Let's hope Popper wins this award. Let's also hope Rubashkin and his rabbis finally do real, certified and independently verified teshuva.
