The Jerusalem Post has an update on the aliya of Ethiopia's Falash Mura, descendants of Ethiopian Jews who, under pressure, converted to Christianity over the last 100 years.
Are they really Jewish?
For many, the answer is a clear yes. Others are not so sure. But one thing is clear: Israel's delays in facilitating Falash Mura aliya – delays caused by non-religious politicians and some haredim seeking to limit or stop Falash Mura aliya – have backfired.
The longer Israel takes to bring the Falash Mura to Israel, the greater number of non-Jews will be brought with them.
