They Banned The Internet But Now Have An Official Website
Many of Agudath Israel's top rabbis banned the Internet, smartphones and home computers (some allow these but only for very restricted use by adults who have pressing business needs, and only when haredi-rabbi-approved modesty filers are installed). But now for the first time a division of Agudath Israel of America has its own official website.
Agudath Israel of America's Lefkowitz Leadership Institute has its own official website – a website that clearly states that it is a division of Agudath Israel of America.
Many of Agudath Israel's top rabbis banned the Internet, smartphones and home computers (some allow these but only for very restricted use by adults who have pressing business needs, and only when haredi-rabbi-approved modesty filers are installed), and the top Israeli Agudah rabbis whom the American Agudah defers to are even more strict.
That's why Agudath Israel of America hasn't had an official Web presence until now.
But, as you can see in the following screenshots and here, it does now:
It was inevitable.
The divinely inspired, superhuman, infallible Grand Rabbis were presented with an irresistible soft target, the internet, to pummel.
It was almost too good to be true for them. You mean we get to demonize something like TV, the soft target of our fathers?
The geniuses were salivating at an opportunity to crucify the devil incarnate. There was no downside. No need to actually address real world issues facing their people. The internet was the target of the generation.
A few years later it is clear there is money being lost by not using the internet, and money being lost by the endless demonization of it.
Embrace the devil, he is now sanctified.
You really have to dislike those Rabbis. So, so silly, the lot of them.

Remember the Satmar website that said "Welcome to Satmar" in English and "If you're a real Jew get off the internet!" in Yiddish?

They have the ENTIRE Agudah network of services up on this website. Just look at the LINKS section on the bottom, and you will find ALL the Agudah crap right there ON THE ASSUR INTERNET.
The Agudah is PATHETIC and the Gedolim are sickeningly hypocritical.
What a farce!
