Dozens of Jews and Muslims gathered outside the Grand Synagogue in Tunis, Tunisia Saturday night in a candlelight vigil in memory of 21-year-old Yoav Hattab, a son of the chief rabbi of Tunisia Benjamin Hattab, who was murdered in the terror attack on the Hyper Cacher kosher supermarket in Paris a week ago, Arutz Sheva reported.
About 150 people carried candles and pictures of Yoav Hattab, placing them between two Tunisian flags as a makeshift memorial. Hattab was in France studying international business.
Four Jews were killed by the Islamist terrorist who seized the store. One of those four was Hattab, who was shot when he tried to take a gun away from the terrorist.
About 15 other hostages were hidden in the stores basement freezer and saved by a Muslim store employee.
French police shot and killed the terrorist in hail of bullets as he charged toward them, gun blazing.
Sion Cohen from the Tunisian island of Djerba, home to the vast majority of Tunisia’s 1,500 Jews, came to Tunis for the memorial vigil for Hattab.
"This gathering shows Tunisia brings everyone together. As far as I know, this is the first demonstration of its kind in solidarity with Jews ever held [in the country],” Cohen said.
The moderate Islamist movement Ennahda also sent condolences to Hattab's family.
But the government of this almost exclusively Muslim North African nation has officially said nothing.
"That is a disgrace," Erij Bodhief, a 23-year-old student, reportedly said. "I am a Muslim and I came. He was a child of Tunisia. What sort of message are the authorities sending to the Jews of Tunisia by not talking about this?"
"...What sort of message are the authorities sending to the Jews of Tunisia by not talking about this..."
The message is clear: only Muslims count. Must have learned that approach from Bibi's government and turned it on its head.

"After the couple of hilbilies and incest practitioners hiding in the mountains of mamakating are smoked out they will run like rabbits in their 1970 pick up trucks for cover, and bloomingburg will bloom with life of tens of thousands beautiful kids living life at its fullest."
Because it's your world, isn't it? Hashem gave it to you. The rest of us are lucky you even allow us to live in it at all.
Also, this:
"incest practitioners"
I say it all the time; you people have no sense of irony.
And "living life at its fullest"? You mean dressing like Polish nobility of two centuries ago, wearing black wool in the summer, spending all day hunched over books of medieval fairy tales instead of running and playing and developing their bodies, and ending up as uneducated, developmentally-stunted adults completely unequipped to live outside of your cloistered, xenophobic world? Yes, that's "living life at its fullest".
You people are the reason antisemitism exists.

Ghost buster - Are you aware that many simple mountain folk in Transylvania got free houses some 70 years ago. You will today see beautiful kids, who are their descendants, playing there. These kids tend to be blonde. Some of the little boys are called Mátyás.

I understand that's become the default method of dealing with dissent in your world. A young person goes off the derech - he needs to be medicated!

When did his family say they thought he was safer in Paris? His father said he feels safer walking around with a kippah in Tunis than in Paris. Yoav seemed to have gone to Paris because the colleges in Tunisia are shit
