Why Do Hipsters In Williamsburg Look So Much Alike?
If you get off the Bedford Avenue L train subway stop in the unofficial East Coast birthplace of hipsters — Williamsburg, Brooklyn — chances are you’ll see a parade of flannel-wearing, fixie-riding, Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) drinkers walking down the street. The clones of hipsters characterize themselves by the undesirability to conform to mainstream culture, but why do they all look so much alike?

“Hipster” – Is that the 21st term for what we used to call “slob?”
Actually it’s probably pretty expensive to achieve that “just rolled out of bed look.” As Billy Joel sang “You can’t dress trashy till you spend a lot of money.” Why is the the early 21st century such a fashion disaster for both men and women?
OK. Maybe the 70s were even worse…

hipsters hate free market capitalism, so they vote for socialism, and now we all have crony capitalism; a system of gov that picks winners and losers in the economy by way of contracts or lack thereof, taxes or lack thereof, and regulations or lack thereof; in an environment that LOOKS like free market capitalism.
