A fire police believe to a likely arson damaged the playground and building of the leading Hebrew-Arab bilingual school in Jerusalem Saturday night, Ha’aretz reported.

"Kahane was right," "There's no coexisting with cancer," "Enough assimilation," Death to Arabs" were reportedly spray-painted on the building, as well.

The 16-year-old Max Rayne Hand-in-Hand Jerusalem School is reportedly Israel’s largest Jewish-Arab institution and is co-headed by both a Jewish and an Arab principal. It’s parent body, Hand-in-Hand, is a nonprofit organization.

Over the past few months the school was reportedly repeatedly hit with similar racist graffiti, but this is the school’s first apparent arson.

The fire started in the playground in the school but reportedly burned parts of the structure itself, including classrooms, and bears hallmarks of arson.

"Even if they manage to dirty the school's walls, they will not manage to bring down our enterprise [of civil cooperation]. In addition to denouncing [these actions] expressing support, we invite the entire Israeli public to join us in the building of Jewish-Arab civil partnership in Israel. We will continue to develop our educational and social project, where every day 1,200 students come to study, some 200 teachers come to teach, and in which thousands of family members are involved,” the executive director of Hand in Hand, Shuli Dichter, said in a statement.

Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat condemned the incident, but appeared to be downplaying its racist, anti-Arab aspects.

"We will not allow pyromaniacs and criminals who take the law into their own hands to disrupt our daily lives. We will continue to denounce the extremists and do whatever it takes to restore the quiet to Jerusalem,” Barkat said – as if there could be some justification for the apparent arson but was condemning it primarily because was carried out by vigilantes rather than law enforcement.

Barkat also said the he spoke with Jerusalem’s Police chief "whose top priority is the investigation and the security of Jerusalem's children.”

Israel’s tepid and often nonexistent response to anti-Arab hate crimes and discrimination has drawn international condemnation, including from the United States Department of State, and a growing number of Israeli journalists and social commentators note that leading figures in Israeli life – like Barkat – are often tone deaf regarding this discrimination.

While it is not yet known who painted the graffiti at the Hand-in-Hand school or who set the fire, Israel’s internal security service commonly known as the Shin Bet has said that many, if not most, of the “price tag” anti-Arab, anti-Muslim and anti-Christian hate crimes committed over the past several years were committed by students and disciples of Chabad Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh.

Ginsburgh – who holds no official position in Chabad – is the senior rosh yeshiva (dean) of the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in the radical West Bank settlement of Yitzhar. He is also one of the most popular Chabad rabbis in the country with a large following among Chabad Anglo-Israelis, ba’al teshuvas and West Bank settlers and is seen by many as a spiritual successor to the late radical Rabbi Meir Kahane, who is considered by Israel and the US to have been a terrorist.

In Israeli politics, as in Weimar Germany, there are too many political parties. I suspect that Mr. N has to spend all too much time trying to keep his coalition together. If the perps turn out to be West bank settlers, I doubt that they will face much punishment. I suspect that more than more than a few Jews living in Israel and the territories would like to make the area an Arabischrein country. With the growing influence of the Haredi, I think the reverse is more likely to happen in the coming decades.

You just cannot expect a country to tolerate having millions of murderous poisonous snakes living in their midst,no other country would tolerate it,because it is absolute suicide.
We all realize and am pretty sure even the most rabid self hating leftist realizes it,that 99.99% of Arabs living in Israel,have a murderous hatred towards the Jews and towards the state,and as long as there will be Arab Muslims living in Israel,blood both Jewish and Arab will be flowing on it's street's.therefore would it not be better for all concerned to have transfer,and avoid years and years of horrible bloodshed on both sides

Rabbi Kahane was himself a phony. He himself was a Coehen and if there was a Temple he would have a role to play in the Temple while most Rabbis I think would be out of a job as their exile style synagogue (Greek work for Place of Meeting which fits the Hebrew word Bait Knesset) would no longer be relevant. So why did he want to institute some form of Rabbinic dictatorship in Israel as if Israel should import all it's exile style existence into Israel when he himself didn't have to worry if a Temple existed again he would not be able to serve in the Temple Service.

And to fair some of the rules of the Israeli government are very unjust. Most Jews including myself were brainwashed to some extent and view Israel in a biblical but don't realize the political reality of Israel.

And this was created by the monopoly of the labor government in the first 30 years of Israel's existence who controlled the government without opposition and was not very religious and I feel to overcompensate thinking they would die out gave tremendous power to organized religion. Not out of any respect but to overcompensate.

In Israel there is no civil marriage. A Rabbi, Priest, or Imam has to marry you or you can go Cyprus to get married but won't be able to get divorced from what I understand. The Rabbis use divorce as a good way to keep control in my view. But anyway. So basically every religion in Israel is sort of separate but equal. I am not a big fan of intermarriage but this is NOT THE WAY to solve the problem. Arabs in Israel have no way of getting out of their situation. No one is going to take a conversion seriously and even so the Rabbi have turned conversion into a long drawn out process where they push their own agenda's on the converts and who wants to do that. So the arabs are a minority that are forced to have to kiss up to their religious figures as the other thing about this is could a religious figure out of spite refuse to marry someone and claim they aren't religious enough. I don't think the Israeli system is just in any way. Yes the arabs have enmity towards Jews feeling slighted as the older brother of Abraham and Issac the younger one getting the bigger blessing but Israel's system sounds not that much difference then in arab countries where Jews and Christians sort of had separate but equal rights but as a minority they were subject to arabs feeling Jews were the utmost enemy that should not live in their country. This sounds similar no matter how you slice it and I am sad to say that. Israel's government laws are not much different then the way it was arab countries. Partly out of the labor party not wanting to be known as anti-religious and overcompensating by giving so much power to organized religion. NO evidence that giving this power helps the country. Just look at Greece where most belong to the Greek Orthodox Church. Has it made them more hard working and moral. I am not Greek but as an outsider looking in it doesn't look like it.

This despicable attack on a school is obviously a message from the “Dwarf Intelligentsia” of a certain political persuasion in the Holy Land. Like a serpent trapped in a corner, they know their power is slipping away.

The use of various terms in the graffiti is instructive. Cancer is metaphorically and literally something that eats away at a person. The truth is that the Holy Land and the Jewish people as a whole are like a body. How the mind works is very important to the health of a person. (e.g. The pituitary gland in the seat of the brain influences immune response.) Toxic thoughts and poor frames of reference lead to disease of self and adverse actions on others. In a healthy body politic philosophy must drive politics, not the other way around. Thus is the philosophy, frame of reference, priority matrix of a sect in a society is wrong it can harm the whole organism.

What many Jewish sect leaders fail to realise is that the divinely appointed role of the Jews is to be a light unto the nations. A light that inspires, guides, nurtures and warms. Not one that intimidates, burns and terrifies into submission. Various sect leaders who brainwash their followers to do violent acts, like the assassins of old, have their priorities all mixed up. To face the truth of their cognitive deficiencies is a painful thing, but it is what they must do. Either by their own voluntary introspection, prayer and tshuva or by force from righteous authorities in the land if necessary. The snake needs to be contained and defanged.

Your brain-damaged comment shows just how defective you are. The Arab students who attend that school - and the families that send them there - are no threat to Israel. And if the school remains functional, they will not likely ever become such a threat. The way to make Israel safer would be to establish such schools everywhere and to support them by all means possible.

And when the worthless subhuman shitheads who did this are allowed to continue with impunity, such schools will become nonexistent and Israel will pay the price. And the price will be high indeed, and will be richly deserved.
