At least five people have been killed and thirteen wounded in a terror attack on synagogue on Shimon Agassi Street in the western Jerusalem neighborhood of Har Nof Tuesday morning.
Various Israeli media reports say two of the dead are terrorists who were killed in a shootout by police.
The two terrorists entered the synagogue, which is the main synagogue of the neighborhood located in a complex that hosts other synagogues, as well, and used guns, axes, and knives to attack worshippers.
"Two terrorists entered a Jewish [synagogue] in Har Nof in Jerusalem armed with a pistol and an axe and there are seven people injured. The two terrorists were neutralized,” police spokeswoman Luba Samri reportedly said in a statement.
An eyewitness told Israel Radio that police took 11 minutes to arrive and paramedics only arrived five minutes after that.
Arie Shavit, who works as a volunteer medic for the United Hatzalah EMT service, was reportedly one of the first to arrive at the scene.
"Two terrorists infiltrated the synagogue and massacred worshipers during prayer…wearing prayer shawls and phylacteries. I and other volunteers of United Hatzalah provided primary care to a number of casualties suffering from different injuries, and unfortunately some of them were injured critically. The Police came and neutralized the terrorists. This was an attack - one which included shootings and stabbings,” Shavit told Arutz Sheva.
Was THIS suicide?

I scanned the press, and not one mention was made that Har Nof is on the western outskirts of Jerusalem, several miles within the so-called "1967 borders" (the 1949 armistice line). Occupation indeed.

Well, someone needs to say what needs to be said. If there were soldier davening in the shul, the outcome would have been different. Considering all the stories of soldiers actually being attacked when trying to daven in shuls, it is a tragic and horrible irony.

Shmarya, like these bastard terrorists also wanted to claim that the arab bus driver who commited suicide was murdered.
He is on their side, just like the Americans who were murdered by ISIS, though they were there to report on the "muslim" side of the story.
People like Shmarya are the Jewish Quislings
Scumbag

Moment of silence. Good it's now over. Now go on to slug mud at the Torah world.

Anthony –
First of all, you usually post under the name Jimmy. Sockpuppeting is not allowed here and if I see that you've done this before or do it again, I'll ban you and remove your comments.
Past that, what I wrote is that Palestinians don't believe Netanyahu, the government or the police because of years of unequal law enforcement and lying.
This is a fact, little man, whether your little mind can grasp it or not.
I'm not justifying terrorism. I'm stating a fact that pretty much all outside observers agree on. (So, BTW, does Ha'aretz and most of the Israeli media.)
But like most things, logic and nuance are not things you learned in your Chabad yeshiva.

How this is "terrorism" but when a defenseless Arab gets killed, it's just the cost of doing business?
Let's all stop renewing this idiotic Bush term they used to rile up gullible conservatives. It's not terrorism, it's just a sad murder - Jews do it to arabs practically every week in uniform, it's no different.
