Monroe, New York Politicians Distribute Questionable Campaign Literature Allegedly Meant To Smear Opponents Who Oppose Annexation Of Town Land By Satmar Hasidic Village

Monroe, New York Town Board members allegedly distributed fliers last night meant to smear opponents who object to allowing the hasidic village of Kiryas Joel to annex a large amount of land from Monroe. This is a hot button issue in tommorrow's election and the board members who handed out those fliers are closely linked to Kiryas Joel Satmar leaders.

 

The flier, posted below, were made in response to the following United Monroe video:

 

In response to the above video, Gerry McQuade and Dan Burke handed out the following desceptive fliers on Forest Road in Kiryas Joel last night, according to area sources.

McQuade, Burke and Harley Doles, the Monroe Town Supervisor, are supporters of the proposed annexation of Monroe land by Kiryas Joel.

According to a United Monroe source, McQuade, Burke and Doles "are twisting our words, saying that we do not want Hasidic families to grow organically.  We have no issue with the citizens of KJ rights to have families and to worship.  Our issue is with the KJ leaders and government, who orchestrated the annexation petitions to fund the pipeline project."  (Here's a webpage that explains much of that alleged deception and smearing by Doles, et al.)

Deremes: You must be delusional. What do black people have to do with any of this? Monroe is an ethnically diverse area with whites, blacks, jews, Hispanics, and asisan living together peacefully in the same neighborhoods. One should question such statements coming from Hasidim given that their entire community is based on religious exclusivity.

Right. The fact that whenever frum Jews have a majority, they ignore zoning laws, trash property and raid town funds to support their own schools while ruining the futures of other people's children has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Deremes - Satmar are not frum Jews. Frum Jews do not ignore the Minhas Elazar.

The Minchas Elazar specifically forbade Jews from living in the Americas. He described the US as being the gateway to hell.

There is a leniency which may allow Jews to settle in Alaska (since its purchase by the US from the Russian Empire is probably void because of mekach toyus). I recommend St Matthew (which even sounds like Satmar) which sits on the Bering Sea
