92% Of West Bank Anti-Palestinian Hate Crimes Unsolved, Only 2% Of Cases Lead To Indictments

Police investigations into alleged hate crimes against West Bank Palestinians, many of them so-called price tag attacks committed by right-wing Jewish settlers, are almost always closed by police without catching the perpetrators, Yesh Din, an Israeli human rights group with extensive experience in the West Bank, has found.
According to a report in Ha'aretz, Yesh Din tracked 1,045 complaints ranging from shooting attacks, stone-throwing and assaults to arson, cutting down olive and fruit trees, animal abuse, crop theft and Jewish construction without permission on land owned by Palestinians – filed with it since 2005.
Based on its statistics from 2013 through October 2014, Yesh Din concludes that the new department of the Judea and Samaria District Police set up to combat these hate crimes has not increased the percentage of cases solved while the percentage of cases Israel Police fail to investigate at all has increased.
Law enforcement has completed 106 of the 159 cases currently being tracked by Yesh Din. Of them, only two indictments were issued – meaning only 1.9% of the completed cases had the potential of being solved. According to law enforcement, of those 106 cases, 86 were closed by police because the criminals are “unknown” to them, 7 were closed for “lack of sufficient evidence” and 2 were closed because “no felony was committed” – meaning that 89.6% of these cases were closed due to failures of the investigative process.
“The statistics prove that the high-flown statements about the fight against nationalistically-motivated crime were hollow. The new department has not improved by one iota the law-enforcement authorities’ ability to investigate and prosecute criminals suspected of harming Palestinians, and ideologically-motivated crime in the West Bank continues to serve as a tool of intimidation and the takeover of land,” Noa Cohen, data coordinator at Yesh Din’s research department, said.
Judea and Samaria District Police reportedly refused to comment on the report because they had not yet seen it.
Western countries including the US have repeatedly issued public statements and reports showing that Israel fails to take anti-Muslim, anti-Christian and anti-Palestinian hate crimes seriously and that Israel has an abysmal prosecution and conviction rate – problems successive Israeli governments have done little to solve.
Many observers believe that Israel’s failure to treat these anti-Palestinian, anti-Muslim and anti-Christian hate crimes dramatically increases the rate of Palestinian violence against Israelis and makes it easier for terrorist groups like Hamas to find new recruits.
Israel's internal security service commonly known as the Shin Bet has linked most of the price tag attacks to students and disciples of Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburg, a Chabad rabbi originally from US who settled in Israel more than three decades ago. Ginsburg has endorsed the mass murder of Arabs and even taught that Arab babies can be indiscriminately killed by the IDF in a time of war because those babies will likely grow up to hate Jews. That teaching is found in the notorious racist book Torat HaMelech, authored by two of Ginsburg's top disciples, Rabbis Yitzhak Shapira and Yosef Elitzur. Both men are rosh yeshivas (deans) at Ginsburg's West Bank yeshiva in Yitzhar. Ginsburg, who while playing no official role in Chabad is very popular among Chabad ba'al teshuvas and anglos in Israel, endorsed the book.
The zionist law enforcement has no interest in upholding laws that would negatively affect their brethren. Their only goal is to give the Arabs enough of a reason to remain hostile towards them, allowing the zionists to counter that hostility in the form of occupation.

It sounds bad until you realize that in a free Palestine 100% of crimes committed against Jews would go uninvestigated.

"...It sounds bad until you realize that in a free Palestine 100% of crimes committed against Jews would go uninvestigated...."
I see. So that conjectural 'wrong' makes what Israel isn't doing right? As ye show shall ye reap and Israel is sowing the whirlwind in this way between its annexations and allowing its home-grown right wing thugs to run wild.

When I defend Israel, someone is sure to bring this up. Then what do I say? Garnel's argument is vacuous.

Curious who's side Shmarya is on?
Many in The Muslim world is at war with the West. The Palestinians in Israel are in a war against every single civilian Jew in Israel, including celebrating and backing the murderous terrorist who killed a three month old baby.
This is a war and war is not pretty

"It sounds bad until you realize that in a free Palestine 100% of crimes committed against Jews would go uninvestigated."
Actually they are BACKED and CELEBRATED and supported financially.
The Palestenians would murder every Jew they could lay their hands on. We have seen multiple times how Jews who got lost and by mistake entered Arab areas were lynched, murdered in cold blood by large mobs.

Although two Wrights make an airplane, two wrongs don't make it right. Hate crimes against anyone are wrong, and I am Zionist.

Yochanan,
This has nothing to do with being a Zionist.Jews of any stripe, gender and age including babies are being indiscriminately attacked. The hate that the Palestenians have towards the Jews in Israel rivals what the Nazis.Who you propose that the allies make a big stink about attacks on the German population after World War 2?
I also remind you that only about 43% of the Germans voted for Hitler.I would guess that the average Palestinian has more hate against Jews and is more prepared to act on it than the average German before the War.
Would you propose that the world investigates crimes against ISIS?

The whole fucking thing is totally and utterly screwed up. The police in Israel don't do their jobs. They have a certain quota of cases they must take and they let cases go to allow that quota to stand, and then they leave it to the military. That's one of the reasons the police refused to take seriously the urgent call by the three yeshiva boys when they were abducted.
Jewish extremists and terrorist groups tend to be very small and limited to a band of close friends, so they tend to fly under the radar. Still, you can't expect me to believe that there isn't enough intelligence that the police and investigators can't recognise patterns to put a stop to them and to arrest them?
At the same time, Arabs get away with it too, because the police don't do their jobs. Add to the problem the fact that fucktard Netanyahu keeps on releasing dangerous terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands. And add to that the problem that Israel releases many terrorists after they've served their time, and has no death penalty as should be the case.
The whole fucking system needs to be trashed and replaced with a new system that will hunt down the Jewish terrorist cells and at the same time put Arab terrorists to death instead of keeping them in prison for them to become bargaining chips. And those Arab youths throwing stones at and attacking Jews in Jerusalem? I say napalm the bloody lot of them.

This proves that Israel is not an apartheid state!

Does anyone have a source to find out what are the parallel statistics for complaints made by jews against actions of nonjews?

Jimmy: If you had any reading comprehension skills, you would see that I wrote that ALL hate crimes are wrong, which would include Palestinian crimes against Jews and the atrocities of ISIS. Their crimes do not justify vigilante actions; let the army and the police take care of the terrorists.
