Senior Israeli officials announced that Israel has accepted a new 72-hour humanitarian cease fire proposal brokered by Egypt. The new cease fire is set to begin at midnight Sunday. But will Hamas break the new cease fire like it broke all previous cease fires?

Senior Israeli officials announced that Israel has accepted a new 72-hour humanitarian cease fire proposal brokered by Egypt. The new cease fire is set to begin at midnight Sunday. If the cease-fire is fully observed by all Palestinian factions, the Israeli delegation will go to Cairo to begin negotiating a longer truce.

A Hamas official told Ha’aretz that all Palestinian factions have also accepted the Egyptian cease fire proposal and will resume negotiations.

Hamas and other Palestinian factions have broken every other cease fire put in place during the war.

I find it difficult to present Israel's case like on FB. There are so many hordes who believe the entire issue should be resolved by Israel being extinguished.

the frame is always, the genocide in gaza.

It seems like it. So there is no arguing with that.

Whilst I had my problems living in ISrael, with some of the things and characters, I still have a love of the land and yes the people.

But the hardest to discuss is the occupation, but again, it is framed as 'how can yo do this.' there is no answer, because the answer is, one or the other..
