Author-journalist Julia Dahl and NYPD Commander (and Orthodox Jew) Daniel Sosnowik discuss crime in the hasidic community of Brooklyn, New York.
Dahl says she was challenged by the Forward in an email because in her book Invisible City, an autopsy of a murder victim is prevented by a powerful person in the hasidic community.
The Forward (I can guess just which editor from the arts side was likely behind this) apparently hasn't paid attention to what Misaskim has done.
It allegedly helped block the autopsy of Howard Frank, who was almost certainly murdered, and of Shele Covlin, who was murdered – but that was only proved when her body was exhumed months later.
How can there be crime in the hassidik community since they are all kulom tzadikim all rightous,na impossible

Oh yeah like all these secularists who have no love of the orthodox are constantly in on a conspiracy to cover up for them.
You think we don't see right through how you have an axe to grind against Jane Eisner & some other Foward bigwigs for your own silly & selfish reasons?
