Shaulzon has what appears to be Rabbi Dovid Weinberger's signed promise bever again to serve as a community rabbi or to teach.

Weinberger was the senior rabbi at Congregation Shaaray Tefila in Lawrence, Long Island until he took a sudden leave of absence last year just before the High Holidays.

Weinberger allegedly had sex with several women he was counseling for marital and other difficulties.

And while local Long Island rabbis condemned him publicly, none said what Weinberger actually did and refused to confirm to media that Weinberger had actually practiced clergy abuse or any similar misbehavior.

But now we have Weinberger's offical promise never to work as a rabbi again.

The problem is, Weinberger has moved to Israel and there reportedly are fears he is teaching there.

frumfollies published it months ago. Shaulzon is a despicable peice of garbage that claims to be on the side of the little guys yet got caught taking money from interested parties. He ripped this off as if it was his scoop.

Not sure what the deal is with Weinberger, but there is talk that Shoulson is being treated for HIV+ at L.I.J.

Nope. I've never taken a bribe in my life.

I just don't like to report stories when the rabbis and congregants who could have easily gone on the record and said what they knew wouldn't do so.

That's why basically no one else did much of any reporting on it, either.

I don't like people who are cowardly for no good reason, and I don't like to report alleged bad things about people that the accusers refuse to back up – so I don't do it.

And, funny how this works, lots of news sources made the exact same decision I did.

As for Weinberger, when he repeats his alleged bad behavior in Israel, blame all the Five Towns rabbis and community members who refused to speak out.
