Israeli security forces have arrested 6 right wing Jewish extremists for the kidnapping and murder of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, the 16-year-old Arab boy kidnapped in Jerusalem and murdered very early Wednesday morning. His charred body was found in the Jerusalem Forest west of the city late that morning and his death has spurred widespread riots in Arab areas of Israel and in the West Bank.

Israeli security forces have arrested six right wing Jewish extremists for the kidnapping and murder of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, the 16-year-old Arab boy kidnapped in Jerusalem and murdered very early Wednesday morning. His charred body was found in the Jerusalem Forest west of the city late that morning and his death has spurred widespread riots in Arab areas of Israel and in the West Bank, Israeli media sources are reporting.

Preliminary autopsy findings released by the Palestinian Authority reportedly show Abu Khdeir suffered a blunt force trauma to the head but was alive when his body was set on fire. The cause of death allegedly was complication from being burned alive.

The autopsy was conducted in Israel by Israeli state pathologists but was monitored by a Pathologist for the PA.

Israel has released no official information on the autopsy.

The gruesome murder was allegedly carried out in revenge for the kidnapping and murder, allegedly by Hamas terrorists, of three Zionist Orthodox teenagers on the West Bank last month.

In East Jerusalem, Abu Khdeir's mother, Suha, told Ha'aretz she welcomed the arrests. But she said she had little faith in Israel's justice system, which has repeatedly failed to deal with anti-Arab hate crimes.

"I don't have any peace in my heart. Even if they captured who they say killed my son, they're only going to ask them questions and then release them. What's the point? They need to treat them the way they treat us. They need to demolish their homes and round them up, the way they do it to our children," she said.

Video footage reportedly also shows three Israeli policemen in riot gear aggressively beating a young 15-year-old American cousin of Khdeir Thursday night. That video, Abu Khdeir’s murder, and years of government failure to take price tag anti-Arab hate crimes seriously of prosecute the perpetrators boiled over into widespread, countrywide rioting.

15-year-old Tariq Abu Khdeir, the murdered boy’s cousin, was released from jail this moning on NIS 3,000 ($877) bail and was ordered not to live in the Jerusalem neighborhood/refugee camp of Shuafat.
