Israel’s Foreign Minister Says Arab-Israeli Rioters Don’t Belong In Israel

Israel’s right wing foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, wrote today that Israeli Arab rioters “do not belong in the state of Israel – and until that is resolved, their place is in jail,” Ha’aretz reported.
"It's good the police arrested the Arabs who rioted yesterday [in Israel's north]. We now expect the justice system to also do its part decisively and, through harsh punishments, deliver a clear message to those who enjoy Israeli citizenship and act as terrorists. [The rioters] do not belong in the state of Israel – and until that is resolved, their place is in jail,” Lieberman wrote on his Facebook page Saturday.
Many Israeli Arabs are enraged over months of racist price tag hate crime attacks carried out against mosques and churches in both the West Bank and Israel proper, allegedly by West Bank Jewish settlers and their supporters – most of who are students or followers of Chabad Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburg, the founder and rosh yeshiva of the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar, according to the Israel’s internal security service known as the Shin Bet.
Police have done next to nothing to stem these hate crimes and the few Jews who have been arrested for allegedly committing them have not been prosecuted.
The US State Department criticized Israel for its lack of concern over these attacks and its failure to properly investigate them in a recent report that sent shockwaves through the Israeli government.
But Israeli Arabs are mostly enraged over the kidnapping and murder of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, a 16-year old East Jerusalem Arab boy.
Abu Khdeir was kidnapped early Wednesday morning and murdered shortly afterward. His charred body was found in the Jerusalem Forest West of the city Wednesday morning. The preliminary autopsy report allegedly shows that Abu Khdeir was burned alive.
Many Israeli Arabs and Palestinians believe Abu Khdeir was killed by right wing Jews in revenge for the kidnapping and murder of three Zionist Orthodox boys in the West Bank last month, allegedly by Hamas terrorists.
The secular left wing Meretz Party’s head, Zahava Gal-On, lashed out at Lieberman and accused him of "inflaming hatred between Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel and, in so doing strengthening the winds of racism and nationalism." Gal-On added that right of Israel's Arab citizens to protest is not dependent on Lieberman's moods.
"It is no secret that Lieberman has been trying, for some time now, to change the status quo of Israel's Arab citizens, to take away their citizenship, and to 'transfer' them out of here,” Gal-On said.
Neither Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or Economy, Religious Affair and Diaspora Minister Naftali Bennett, Finance Minister Yair Lapid oor Justice Minister Tzipi Livni have so far distanced themselves or the government from Lieberman’s statement.
Lieberman wants to transfer the area many of these Arab Israelis rioted in, the so-called Little Triangle and Wadi Ara, to and Palestinian state in exchange for West Bank territory.
“When I talk about land and population exchange, I mean the Little Triangle and Wadi Ara. This is not a transfer. Nobody will be expelled or banished, but the border will move to the other side of Route 6,” Lieberman said earlier this year.
Do Jewish rioters belong in the state of Israel, Mr. Minister?

Avigdor Lieberman is a confessed child molester. He was convicted of savagely beating a 12 year old boy whose injuries required hospitalization. The victim was Jewish. What sort of people place a Felon Minister in charge of their relations with other countries?
