Cop Shoots Haredi Burka Cult Woman At Kotel
There was a security alert in place last night at the Kotel (Western Wall), and police were on edge. Yeshiva students had been warned to stay indoors rather than mill about the plaza in front of the Kotel or pray there. But the only person shot was a 35-year-old haredi woman dressed in an odd improvised version of a burka.

There was a security alert in place last night at the Kotel (Western Wall), and police were on edge. Yeshiva students had been warned to stay indoors rather than mill about the plaza in front of the Kotel or pray there.
Even so, all was tense but calm – until then shots rang out.
It wasn’t a Hamas terrorist firing at worshippers or an Israeli cop firing at a terrorist.
Instead, Ha'aretz reported that an Israeli cop had just shot a 35-year old haredi woman wearing multiple heavy dresses and wrapped in several blankets, despite the summer heat – a member of the haredi Burka (Burqa) cult.
The cult (also known as the haredi “Taliban” women) wear many layers of dark heavy clothing, including hoods, that cover their entire bodies from head to toe for reasons of "modesty" even during the hottest summer months and make them look much like women in the most repressive Muslim societies.
The officer claims the haredi woman approached a security checkpoint at the entrance to the Western Wall Plaza wearing many layers of dresses, wrapped in blankets, and acting strangely.
The officer says he ordered her to stop but she failed to do or acknowledge him and just kept walking toward the Kotel.
The officer says he fired a warning shot into the air, but the Burka cult woman still failed to stop and still failed to respond.
The officer then fired at her legs, moderately wounding her, and other officers restrained her.
Damn he didnt have to shoot her. Just walk up to her and and ask what she's doing.
But im guessing they likely have real killers on post at the Kotel incase it gets stormed.
The big mistake people make with the IDF is asuming the troops are all real soldiers. Soldiers are not like chickens that are all the same. They are like attack dogs. Only 1 out of 100 dogs will be able to do the job properly. When you join the military they'll test you to know if your a real killer and will assign you accordingly.
Israel has a SMALL population to chose from though. So dont think Israeli soldiers just arent soldiers like all the rest. The military doesnt work like that. They know who the killers are, and in my opinion there are so few, that they are NOT posted to take front line. They send in volunteers and kids from out of highschool who cant fight. The person who shot at that woman is a killer alright. Not everyone can pull the trigger on another like that.
Note: The US has TONS of real, qualified, grade A killers. Dont test American, British, German, and Canadian marines. If theres a contracted batallion coming for you then RUN!! HIDE!! You wont be able to beat them!! You wont even be able to get past their gear its all bullet proof. Israeli soldiers? Just give them low grade vietnam surplus and send out the kids to front line. Start with the lone soldiers first as their lives are woth less. Then the Mizrahi israeli's.. And then the Ashkenazi as a last resort.
Each day a funeral with highschool kids crying real tears.. Red in the face, gasping for breath doing 'real' crying. A 'broken' sort of 'i didnt know life was like this' sort of crying. Trying to figure it all out that they could be next as they looki at the flag on the coffin. They physically shake. You should see the sorrow. They got sold on a dream. Now it hits home that people are actually dying.. Their own friends, schoolmates they've grown up with since kindergarten. The bond is so strong at that age between kids. And all of a sudden word is coming back that x y and z has died. People doing service wonder if they'll be up next., suffering chest pains, panic attacks, DIZZY SPELLS, ear ringing, and tremors. Then they get diagnosed with anxiety and depression and go on meds.
These are not real soldiers and any Israeli VIP reading this should be ashamed of yourself for putting kids in battle when you have real killers and you know who they are. Use real soldiers and for GODS SAKES EQUIP THEM PROPERLY!!! BE ASHAMED!!! GET THEM OUT OF GAZA TO EGYPT - ALL 1.8 MILLION

When you're dressed like that and ignore police when they give you an order to stop you leave them no choice. Shooting her in the leg makes sense to me.

Cops in the USA would have tried to shoot her dead, NOT tried to wound her in the leg. You don't know if she's armed and would shoot back. American cops are trained to shoot to kill if they're going to shoot.

I don't know why you've taken the tone you did, Shmarya, but I commend the guards for incapacitating this woman. A similar nutjob showed up on Monsey Trails earlier this week, wearing an umbrella hat under her burka to obscure the shape of her head (and probably to keep the fabric off her face). The driver and passengers immediately called the police. There's no way of knowing who or what is under that black cloak.

There are many different women they do not all wear heavy blankets and such but perhaps now more stringent ... at this time. Many converts and BT's by the way. They are in Israel Devorah..they are supposed to be sensitive about certain matters, as when I was stopped and questioned for..I don't know..it was the woman police officer that came over. If there was time, obviously possibly not, they might have had a woman ask. And speaking in Yiddish might help also.

When approaching a police or military checkpoint in Israel during a time of war, you should, if so ordered:
1. Stop.
2. Answer any and all questions.
3. Present one's belongings for inspection.
4. Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around.
Anything else is asking to be tackled at best and fired upon at worst.
