The dates in evidence don't lie. Look at the GT Wire sheet:
1) The original $120,000 deposit from the apartment sellers is returned in October 2011. The deal is dead.
2) $2.5 million is wired to GT a full 5 month later after the deal is dead. So GT knows there is no real use for that money on its face.
3) After only 4 days that money disappears into Weinstein's account.
4) Then 2 months after that another $300K comes into the escrow account and swiftly gets sent again to Weinstein.
Those are the facts, not misrepresentations. There is no way in the world that GT or Lehrfield did not know the apartment deal was dead and red flags should have been raised long before the request was made to send the money out to Weinstein. They should have been raised when the money came into the escrow account in the first place, as in, what the heck is all this money for, doesn't the buyer know there's no deal?

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, thats why we have trials, so the facts can be established.
