Member of Knesset Rabbi Moshe Gafni from the haredi United Torah Judaism Party is furious that the Ministry of Religious Services has allowed the cost of using state-funded mikvas (ritual baths) to continue to increase, Yeshiva World reported.
The cost of using a men’s mikva in Jerusalem was recently increased by 30% and a similar price hike was made less than a year ago.
Gafni claims Deputy Minister of Religious Services Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan promised to reduce the cost of using mikvas but then failed to keep that promise.
Gafni wants an explanation from Ben Dahan and a price rollback.
Why is the government even involved with this?
Anyway, costs should be set at whatever the recovery cost is.
No more unfair and unearned subsidies to charedim, especially if it means lounging around in the mikvah as though it were a Roman bath house whilst loyal Israelis go off to work.

The government pays for mikva'ot? I did not realize this. Do you have to attest to a prior seminal emission, or is the promise to have one there in the mikva good enough?

Next they'll want the government to supply each of them with a nubile young boy for their pleasure.
