Charges Allegedly Dropped Against Satmar Man Who Intimidated Victim In Weberman Child Sex Abuse Case

There are persistent reports in the hasidic community and a report on Twitter that Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson has dropped charges against Satmar activist and alleged thug Yossele Fried.

There are persistent reports in the hasidic community and a report on Twitter from the New York Daily News's Oren Yaniv that Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson has dropped charges against Satmar activist and alleged thug Yossele Fried.

Fried allegedly illegally took pictures of the teenage victim of Nechemya Weberman as she was testifying against Weberman in court and then tweeted them.

If these reports are true, this appears to be another indication that the new DA's version of justice is to take the path of least resistence in most cases, and to favor the Satmar voting bloc whenever possible.

Why?

I'm told Thompson likely views being DA as a stepping stone to higher political office. If he runs for attorney general, governor or for congress, he'll need those Satmar bloc votes.

The losers here will be child sex abuse victims.
