Video: Sanz-Klausenberg Rebbe Equates NYC Firemen With Nazis

The Sanz-Klauzenberg Rebbe tells a New York City fireman who is trying to extinguish a chametz-burning bonfire that "the Nazis in Deutchland were also doing this..." i.e., shutting down chametz-burnings. Typically the FDNY extinguishes the fires by a certain time, but the Klauzenberger Rebbe is allegedly a chronic latecomer, so he didn't have enough time to dance with his students by the fire.

So the Rebbe was late (as usual). Doesn't it say somewhere in the Talmud that not being punctual is a form of theft (stealing someone's time)? Even Chabad (theoretically) recognizes punctuality as a virtue.

Cheapening the Holocaust is just that. Every time one of the black hatted momzers calls persons they dislike Nazis, they make the holocaust into less than the murder of 6 million. Their long-standing cheapening of the event and their denial of the real reasons behind the holocaust segregates them from the body of Judaism. It puts them into the same bed as the rest of the Holocaust deniers and the anti-semites. Never has the rabbinate produced such small-minds. If you read the biography of this clown's father on Wikipedia, his story of survival is unbelievable. It is also amazing that the father was able to establish the Laniado hospital in Netanya.

What is hard to believe is that the son of this "great rebbe" who went through the war with such heroism could be such as putz, throwing around "you're a Nazi" curses on firemen for gently enforcing a simple law. Didn't the father instill an appreciation for American democracy in this putz?

I wonder how much of the Wikipedia article on the father is true and how much is "rebbe-worshiping" fantasy.

It's indisputable that the Klausenberg/Sanz "rebbe" established that hospital in Netanya. The stories about his suffering in the war are an interesting read on WikiPedia. It'd be nice if "someone in the know" in our community could read the article and say which pieces of it are true and which pieces are bullshit.
