Mosque Vandalized In Suspected Jewish Settler Price Tag Attack

A Jewish star and the phrase “close mosques, not yeshivas” were spray-painted on a mosque in the northern Israeli-Arab town of Fureidis and the tires on approximately 20 cars were slashed in an apparent price tag attack carried out by West Bank Jewish settlers or their sympathizers, the JTA reported.
The attack was discovered early this morning when residents arrived for morning prayers at the mosque and is though to have been carried out in response to the Border Police closure and takeover of the Chabad-linked Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar earlier this month. The yeshiva is home to some of the most radical West Bank Jewish settlers and is headed by radical Chabad Rabbi and kabbalist Yitzchak Ginsburg and tow other extremist rabbis, Yisrael Shapira and Yosef Elitzur, the authors of the racist book Torat Hamelech.
On Sunday in what was apparently another price tag attack, an Arab school in Acre was spray-painted with “death to Arabs” and other anti-Arab and nationalist graffiti.
There have been dozens of racist price tag attacks in the West Bank and in Arab areas of Israel over the past several years against mosques, villages, orchards and churches. While police and security officials believe West Bank settlers and their supporters are behind the attacks, almost no arrests have been made.
silence?

Keeping up these price-tag attacks will result in one thing: Reprisals. What are these cowardly little bastards going to do when mosques start putting snipers on their roofs or burying land mines on their grounds. One fine morning, West Bank settlers may awaken to the sight of a number of dead bodies in their midst.

Israel sends fancy spy satellites into orbit, takes pride of being the best in IT etc... yet, within such a small country cannot put their hands on jewish terror?
could it be that these thugs are pseudo militias like the Russian militias in the Ukraine ?!

I live in Zikhron Ya'akov, which is right across from Fureidis, and I am APPALLED!
The people of these two towns -- Jews & Arabs -- have lived in peace with each other for over 120 years.
Many people from Fureidis work & shop in Zikhron and many people from Zikhron shop in Fureidis.
My neighbor was even invited to a wedding in Fureidis.
It is unlikely that the Tag Makhir people that did this despicable act came from Zikhron, but that doesn't lessen the outrage that I feel.
After living in Israel many years I still find it hard to understand how even a small minority of a people who were persecuted mercilessly for centuries, exterminated like rats in WWII, and discriminated against in a milliard ways can treat other human beings like their historical enemies treated them.
I've come to the conclusion that Jews are no better or worse than any other people. If the Germans were Amalek, then there is a little Amalek in every human being, including "the Chosen People".

Israel occupied by the settlement lobby
A radical minority is helping turn Israel into an apartheid state boycotted by global business groups, besieged politically, legally and culturally.

"...then there is a little Amalek in every human being, including "the Chosen People"..."
Absolutely so. We need to stop trying to fool ourselves into believing otherwise.

True Aaron. Israel is in big trouble, sad that most don't know it's of their own doing, nor where it's coming from.
The gov't doesn't seem too upset with this Price Tag stuff, nor is there any serious attempt to stop it. Shame on them.
