Ya know, even after all of the trials and all of the convictions, you can't help but love that sporty "urban investment professional" look with the Armani suit flipped casually over his shoulders.

All of this "legal work" by a so called professional attorney and Moshe Lehrfield could not figure out the entire deal was a fraud? And what's more that $3 million dollar escrow came into his account with a cover sheet that listed exactly what account, what bank and who owned that money. How in the world could he then turn around and send that money to people completely unrelated to the original sender? And even if GT's insurance covers this, Lehrfield's ass is toast. He needs to be disbarred for this.

As an aside, can someone explain this to me. I was under the impression that billing records were priveleged between attorney and cient. So how do thes documents get ut into the public, unless it's because it mentions other people not being indicted. In other words, would it be protected if it only listed Lehrfield's interactions with Weinstein?

chofetz chiam yshiva in miami also has a guy who defrauded and did jail time for fraud as one of his donors and the books are closed
what i dont understand is how the yeshiva which stands for the chofetz chiam and emes has no scruples and pays for a rabbi and his families trips to israel and vacations

D: If you know who this family member is that Moshe Lehrfield lost his trust money please leave an email address so we can reach out to him. I represent another group who have similar claims and it may make sense to consolidate these cases and bring it directly to GreenbergTraurig who is responsible for their attorneys misconduct.

Everyone's comments are a reflection of poor detective work. Additionally the comments are pretty funny. I am sure you are all aware of Greenberg Traurig being one of the largest South Florida Firms as well as probably in the top 50 largest firms nationally. Do you people really think that Moshe Lehrfield has that much power to issue the decision to accept a deal, to accept 2.5 million dollars on behlf of such a large firm, or authorize a 2.5 million dollar disbursement?!? You people are a laughing stock!! Your misplaced anger, disgusting comments, and lashon hora are ways for you to vent about something that didn't go your way and hide behind your anonymous mask. Moshe Lehrfield is 1 man in an office that has rules and regulations to protect the exposure and liability of the entire firm from possible allegations and situations like this. Whomever decided to specifically go after Rabbi Moshe Lehrfield in this manner is in for a rude awakening. Moshe Lehrfield is not even the head of his division and would need clearance for any such transaction.

For all of you out there with a chip on their shoulder, do yourself and every other jew a favor (mainly because it is a chilul hashem not for what might or might not have happened but for goyim to see jews so readily willing to get another jew in trouble): Man up and tell the person you have a problem with what that problem is to his face. Stop hiding behind the internet.

You can all wonder why the feds are not looking into him or you can face the fact that there is nothing to look into.

You can all assume that he did something wrong or think about why no local newspaper or tv station has made any mention of Moshe Lehrfield or Greenberg Traurig. All of you know that if there was something real then the local news would have picked up on it.

Last point: Malpractice is professional negligence. Negligence is a cause of action which requires the plaintiff to establish that the professional had a duty, that he breached that duty by falling below the standard of care, and that the breach was the proximate and actual cause of the ensuing damages; there must be actual damages. Now, everyone must realize that just because we might not necessarily like the results or outcome it doesn't mean that malpractice was committed.

Thank you so much for being out there. It is such a shame that some people have such schadenfreude. Much worse, the allegations against Moshe and others in this case were completely baseless.

This is a case that should never have filed, and, frankly, Chambers would have sued their "lawyers" if they actually thought there was merit to their underlying claims against the dismissed defendants.

I also echo your sentiment that there are people on this thread who have teshuva to do.

This was a disgusting case. With the exception of one or two defendants, real attorneys would never have agreed to take it on.
