Large-Scale Anti-Christian Price Tag Attack In Northen Israel

The tires of 40 vehicles were slashed and a wall was spray painted with a message reading “only goyim should be evacuated from our land" Wednesday night or early Thursday morning in Jish, a small Arab village with about 3,000 residents located near Sefat in the Upper Galilee, Ynet reported.
Police reportedly believe the incident is another in a long line of price tag attacks believed to be carried out by Jewish West Bank settler youth and their supporters, almost all of whom are Zionist Orthodox or haredi-Zionist Orthodox.
Jish is the only village in Israel with a majority Maronite-Catholic population. Only one third of Jish’s residents are Muslim.
Northern District Police Chief Major General Zohar Dvir called the attack "a criminal and despicable phenomenon.”
Sefat Police Chief Superintendent Yoram Azulay pledged to bring the vandals to justice.
"We are dealing with outlaws, and will do everything to bring them to justice. This is an exceptional and serious event,” Azulay said.
Earlier this week, anti-American and anti-Christian graffiti – including "America is Nazi Germany,” "price tag,” “Jesus is a monkey,” and “Mary is a cow” – was spray-painted on the Deir Rafat Monastery near Beit Shemesh and the tires of three cars and a truck were slashed.
Last week another price tag attack took place in East Jerusalem. The tires of 34 cars and a bus were slashed, and all the vehicles were spray-painted with "goyim in Israel = enemies.”
No arrests in any of these attacks have been made.
But that is not unusual.
In the many price tag attacks that have taken place over the past several years – including quite a few involving arson and attempted arson – almost no arrests have been made and, despite claims to the contrary, police do not appear to consider apprehending the attackers a high priority.
[Hat Tip: YBM.]
Let's be real and stop calling hateful, criminals "orthox"... There are some things that define orthodox, and criminal behavior is notsuppposed to be one of those attributes. The Torah is very clear about how to conduct yourself and how to behave towards others so there is nothing "orthodox" about being a criminal, a vandal, or a bigot.

percherondad - Use your google-fu on the term "No True Scotsman".
And let's stop calling these "price tag attacks". Price tag attacks are an act of revenge for some alleged offense. The monks, hell, the Israeli Christian community hasn't done anything. This is simple terrorism.

...terrorism in which the Bibi government is complicit since nobody's ever arrested, or hardly ever. Given the efficiency of Israeli security forces in finding and often killing those they truly set out to find no other explanation makes sense to me.

Unfortunately, frumma "education" teaches nothing of how the world works. If it did, they would realize that certain Christian groups are among tbe biggest supporters of Israel. Morons.

Record numbers of Christian Arabs are volunteering for the IDF. And they work for a living.

David, the perpetrators are unlikely to be products of haredi education. These people are right-wing Zionists. Even if they are "hardal" - haredi nationalists - 99% of whom are religious Zionists who have also become religiously super-conservative.
The police should also be looking at the filthy racist 'Chief Rabbi' of Safed, Rabbi Eliyahu - the one who said Jews are forbidden to rent to goyim etc. The presence of someone like him in the area, promoting this kind of ideology, is no doubt an inspiration to other, more physically active, racist thugs.

That does it. These people have a lot to learn about genetics and biology.

I've asked this before with no response. Would someone please tell me the meaning of "price tag attack?"

___________________________________________But if someone posted graffiti stating that Rabbis have small penises because it makes it easier to sodomize 8 year-old boys, they would be burning garbage dumpsters calling it blood libel and demanding the government do something.

Wigmore, a "price tag" attack is revenge for something that another group did. It's like that line from "The Untouchables":
Malone: You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way! And that's how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I'm offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?
Except that this isn't revenge for anything the monks or Christians have done. It's just Jewish terrorists acting with the approval of the government.

"Price Tag" attacks originated as attacks against innocent Arab "soft" targets that were carried out not in retaliation for anything done by the victims, but actually designed as a reaction to something done by the Israeli army, police or government that the perpetrators (usually extremist settlers) didn't like. The idea was that there would be a "cost" when, for example, an illegal settlement was evacuated by the police and army. These attacks were condemned as cowardly by most people. But, as usual, very little effort was made to catch the perpetrators.
In this case, the attacks are not clearly price tag attacks in the original sense, despite the headlines and some of the graffiti. But it seems like the name has caught on to describe any acts of vandalism carried out against innocent Arab civilians by the extreme Right.
