Another haredi yeshiva student has been sentenced to 10 days in a military prison for draft dodging.
Monday night, an IDF judge sentenced Ashdod resident Yaakov Yisrael Paz to an IDF prison after Paz, who was drunk at the end of the second day of Purim (known as Shushan Purim and celebrated in walled cities like Jerusalem), was stopped near the entrance to the city of Elad, Yeshiva World reported. A routine police check showed that Paz was AWOL. He was handed over to military police, brought before a military judge a few hours later and jailed.
Paz reportedly failed to answer two draft notices after haredi leaders (apparently affiliated with the ‘rebel’ non-hasidic Ashkenazi haredi faction headed by Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach) ordered haredi yeshiva students to ignore draft notices completely.
This morning, haredi community activists announced that protests against the arrest of Paz will be held tomorrow in several locations across the country.
Paz reportedly attends the Grodna Yeshiva.
nice, but they should be actively seeking them instead of just checking after theyre stopped for something else.

You may wish to make this a pinned post - or end it with "this has been a recording" because I fear we're going to see this again and again and again............

Let them protest, but stop each and begin arresting the rest of the draft dodgers. Amend the legislation to read the jail time is at hard labor.
