American Haredi Rabbis Order English-Speaking Haredim To Vote For Allegedly Corrupt Beit Shemesh Mayor

Rabbi Aharon FeldmanThe English speaking community of Ramat Beit Shemesh just hosted Rabbi Aharon Feldman, the Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Israel Baltimore and a leading haredi rabbi in America. Feldman reportedly traveled to Israel specifically for the purpose of conveying the message of American haredi rabbinic leaders that it is "absolutely incumbent upon every individual to vote for Moshe Abutbol for mayor."

Rabbi Aharon Feldman

Yeshiva World reports:

American Gedoleim On Beit Shemesh Elections

The English speaking community of Ramat Beit Shemesh had the rare honor of hosting Rav Aharon Feldman shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Israel Baltimore and one of the leading Gedolei-Torah in America. Rav Feldman traveled to Israel specifically for the purpose of carrying and conveying the message of the Gedolei Torah of America that it is absolutely incumbent upon every individual to vote for Moshe Abutbol for mayor.

Rav Feldman emphasized that this election is not just an issue of who will manage the municipality, but one of allowing a terrible chillul Hashem to take place, r”l, or ensuring that a tremendous Kiddush Hashem comes about.

He noted the lengthy article printed in Maariv (a secular publication) that demonstrated how the Israeli court’s jump from 36 false votes to the assumption that entire Charedi congregations did so is a heinous twisting of logic that would most certainly not have been perpetrated against any other community.

[In reality, police broke up two haredi voting mills on election day. One had about 200 IDs, disguises and a list polling places correlated with those IDs. There were 8 arrests made, including a very close confidant and aide of Abutbul's, who was caught inside one of those vite mills. In addition, poll watchers and election workers reported extensive attempts by haredim at multiple voting, while others went to the polls to vote only to find out someone else had already voted – for Abubul – in their name. The High Court of Justice saw the evidence and vloided the election – all facts Feldman certainly knows. But Feldman has a long history of lying, as you can see here. – FailedMessiah.com.]

Rav Feldman further emphasized that Moshe Abutbol, because he is a fully-committed Torah Jew who follows the guidance of Rabbanim and Gedolei Torah, will ensure that Beit Shemesh will continue to flourish not only materially and physically but spiritually as well.

Augmenting the live address of Rav Feldman was a video presentation of Rav Yaakov Perlowe shlita, Rebbe of Novominsk and Chairman of the Moetzes Gedolei Ha’Torah of Agudath Israel of America, and Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia and one of the foremost Gedolei-Torah of America. Rav Perlowe and Rav Kamenetsky, as well, echoed and underscored the critical importance of re-electing the Charedi mayor, Moshe Abutbol.

The event was hosted in the Beis Teffila Shul which is a major center for Anglos living in Ramat Beit Shemesh and is under the guidance of Rav Chaim Zev Malinowitz. It was a truly inspiring event in which English speaking, observant Jews covering the full spectrum of orthodoxy came to demonstrate their great respect for the Gedolei Torah, and in order to hear their critically significant message regarding the elections.

These fake phony so called rabbis should mind their own business. They have no business telling Israeli citizens who to vote for.

They should make Aliya and live in Israel if they cared so much about who the mayor should be.

I have family who live in beit shemesh and they keep me informed about that scum bag abutbol. He is a religious crook. Panders for the frummy vote on the backs of the working class people.

All rational people ( religious and non religious ), hope that Cohen and NOT abutbol will win this election. Under abutbol there has been nothing but chaos. Typical frum bs The time has come to change that.

I wish the frummies would not be allowed to vote since they don't go to the army There should be a rule - no army / shirut Leumi, no right to vote.

Seems like these lazy frummies get welfare and vote, but want to sit and " kvetch der bunk ", all day.

Lazy scum bags.

Looks like Lurch, this guy.

A man who is legitimately well regarded as a talmid chacham, who though opposed to TV, was interviewed on 60 Minutes; and who (I believe) is opposed to college education, took the position of Rosh Yeshiva of the only Hareidi institution that encourages higher education among its talmidim.

And the naive, impressionable, and brain washed children of American Jews who live there now, will take the good rabbi's ultimatum to heart and vote for this guy.

@ Reese.....duh? wha? Oh, it's frum? Uh, okay? (Something like that?)

How many polling places are there in Beit Shemesh? Someone should set up video feeds from the entrance of each to a central location, record them all and in case of another questionable voting pattern, compare them and look for the same faces in more than one, or the same face in the same place more than once. It's doable these days. Might be interesting.

S M L - cameras are a good idea for stopping frumma voting fraud but recognizing bearded, spectacled faces with big hats either for humans or facial recognition software would be tough.

Perhaps they could do what they do in Third World countries on the rare occasions they have elections and mark frumma fingers with a long-lasting dye. Of course, their rabbis would reject that because they would interpret it as a "tattoo". Tough, they don't vote then.

You mentioned Malinowitz.
The guy's a lot of fun.

Just another man living in the 17th or 18th Century.....sitting (or standing) there, talking to a bunch of like-minded people, who gladly accept someone telling them what to do, how to do it, and what to think....

Meanwhile, other men walk on the moon, and travel in space....

In the 17th and 18th centuries, those few fortunate to have a vote, would not have had a secreat ballat.

Frumkeit is completely lost when you can buy and sell "Gedolei Torah" to the highest bidder for a price. The new generation of kids know this. They realize it's all a farce, and that is why they are leaving in droves. It will only get worse. If you thought the Haskalah movement was bad, watch out for the Off The Derech movement. In 50 years from now it's going to happen in the thousands. 50% of Frum kids will go off the derech and when you wonder why, come back and read articles like this. Teenagers hate phonies and can smell them a mile away. When the "Gedolei Torah" sell themselves out to politicians, it makes kids see that all of Torah is a joke and a business, and for that they don't have to stay Frum. Keep on this path and watch your kids leave. And keep your heads in the sand, wondering why. They are leaving because Rav Feldman and his "Gedolim" friends are doing things like this.

It's casper the friendly chareid
