Here is the profile for William Dobie. He is a newbie attorney. Not sure what he brings to the table. Benjamin Brafman he isn't.

Moshe - Dobie may be new, but Yurowitz is not. Same firm, Frum, and while he does criminal law his specialty is in the area of appeals. Friends in the "biz" in NYC speak highly of him.

Samantha Weitzen is a RAT! she ripped off eli and now is blaming him for everything!

Who gives a rat's ass about this character? We know what he is. All the rest is his attempt to delay or reverse what is inevitable for him.

S M L--Right on,he will get the inevitable 100 years in jail.

You guys are probably the ones who stole from him.
He will get a slap on the wrist.
Stop wishing bad on others.

Long time ago I said I hated to admit it, but there was an appealable issue.

TzippyS--
Why are you defending a guy who ADMITTED to stealing 50M from ppl? What's your connection to him? Or, are you just one of those 'bleeding hearts' who feel sorry for everyone, no matter how evil?

You seem to be the only one defending Weinstein. Are you perhaps his girlfriend from Montreal? Or perhaps from Florida or Israel?

Rebbiman, I'll bet. Dh had it right from the get go.

If he can prove the judge has it out for him which is obvious by all the games they played on him, the big loser at the end will be the crazy system and the judge.

And who are you crook? The guy in flatbush who ripped eli off? Or the guy in deal? Or the guy in the 5towns?

@TzippyS
Then you'll lose your money - the charges he's pled guilty to (about half of what he's been charged) carry a sentence up to 25 years and he's spent every waking hours since entering the plea antagonizing the man who will be sentencing him, and (apparently) commiting other similar crimes without a shred of remorse.
He's going to get a slap on the wrist the way Shalom Rubashkin did.

Folks, don't waste your ATP with this case anymore. Let him have his way, after all the appeal is to take back his guilty plea, not that he is getting off the hook. Let him do that, screw this, I am tired of this cry baby. He will get a trial and get screwed good in it, and the sentence won't be as nice as he would had with his guilty plea. Ugh!!
