How hard could it possibly have been to stick to the probation conditions?

As much as I despise child molesters/pedophiles, whenever I see posters or media that call for someone to be punished/sentenced to prison, I cannot help but shudder.
It just brings up the spectre of mob rule and mob justice. We are supposed to be better than this.
Then again, given that he was Haredi, I'm wondering how long this hushed up/covered up by his superiors.
I've said this on numerous occasions- the only time the Catholic Church got serious about ridding themselves of pedophiles was when they were repeatedly hit by multi-million dollar jury verdicts or settlements between the Church and the abuse survivors.
The same thing has to happen to the Haredim before they take concrete steps to deal with the child abuse/pedophilia issue.

Unlike the Catholic Church, Orthodoxy and Chareidim have no central authority and no central organization.

Posters are how this community communicates. This is not mob rule. It's free speech. Let people impress upon officialdom how much damage this man has done. He was give a ridiculously lenient punishment. It's not as if the posters are suggesting he be lynched nor are they advocating storming the courthouse.

The problem, Robert, is that with the Catholic Church - there is something central, tangible and with assets to sue. The Frum Jews are so fractured in their structure.......there really would be no point and certainly not the same impact.
While I agree in general with you (one has only to read the comment around the death if Stark to see examples), I do disagree with your mob rule analogy in this case, because there are no threats........just an invitation to operate within the law and instructions as to how to do exactly that.

@ SML, and @ Rebitzman- I do understand what you both are saying- and I did in fact overlook that posters are in fact how this community communicates.
And Rebitzman, you are correct, in that the posters do say "operate within the law" and they provide instructions on how to do that.
It's just that I feel (and yes, some lawyers do have "feelings"- LOL) that when things are on posters....it's just a bit disquieting. For me, it just "conjures up" - for lack of a better term- the spectre of mob rule.
But then again, as long as the posters don't spread any libel, distortions, and in fact do tell people to operate within the bounds of the law, then I guess there's nothing wrong with them.
And if they in fact invite people to participate as citizens in the justice system, then in fact, they can be seen as a good thing. That's why I wish more "regular" people- citizens- showed up to see trials in the Courtroom. (Not that much goes to trial these days, but still)....when citizens see court proceedings they get (I hope) a better understanding of how our third branch of government works. And I think that's a good thing.
