Video: Wave Of Anti-Semitic Attacks Hits Crown Heights

A wave of anti-Semitic attacks and graffiti has hit the heavily Chabad hasidic Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn over the past two months. But, police ask, are these attacks really hate crimes? Are they even connected? Or are they childhood pranks and very low level assaults?

The evidence points to antisemitism. It must be stopped. Chareidim and Hassidim are the most visibly Jewish, but the haters hate all of us. (See: Annie Hall). All forms of prejudicial violence are wrong. I would be also appalled by racist attacks on African Americans.

boropark, or flatbush ? hum ! good question .
when chabad will stop taking advantage of jews who are not like them and stop discriminating them and hurting them, the curse will be lifted and no more bias attack . it has to start with chabad themselves .

Yochanan, I agree with what you wrote; I would just add that in addition to haredim and hasidim being the most visibly Jewish, and thus they are the best targets, the Jewish banksters are also very visible, which is why they are also on the receiving end of alot of the hatred.

If you do a search on the NY Times web site, you won't find any reference to these attacks. I guess they are not deemed news that is fit to print. Does the mayor-elect have anything to say about the matter? What about the current mayor (who is Jewish)?
