Rabbi Shlomo Helbrans and his Lev Tahor cult fled Ste. Agathe-du-Mont, Quebec. yesterday and were rumored to heading for the southern US and from there to Iran or another country that would not extradite them to Canada or Israel when, a source says, they were allegedly detained by police in Ontario and the children were allegedly taken into protective custody. But the arrests or intervention by Canadian authorities cannot be confirmed at this time.
The cult is accused of serial child abuse.
Before fleeing Israel 23 years ago, Rabbi Shlomo Helbrans – an extreme anti-Zionist – reportedly had ties with the Islamic Movement there.
Helbrans was later convicted of kidnapping a Jewish boy from the US and served time in a US prison for that crime. His cult has long been accused of serial child abuse.
For years, Helbrans and Lev Tahor were backed by the Satmar and Tosh hasidic movements despite the massive evidence against Helbrans and the cult. But their support for Helbrans waned as they saw him gradually poach small numbers of Satmar and Tosh hasidim. The cult behavior surrounding that poaching finally caused Satmar and Tosh to break with Helbrans and Lev Tahor.
Lev Tahor women and girls wear clothing similar to extremist Muslim women with heavy layers of dark gray, dark blue or black covering the entire body and head, save for part of the face.
More details will be posted when they become available.
Cheers to Canada, a country willing to do the right thing.

Notice that they are running instead of working to return their children. That speaks volumes.
Authorities here in Canada are generally loathe to break up families, even those with extreme beliefs, so the situation may be very dire indeed.

I hope that the children are fostered to good Catholic homes where they have a chance to grow up as decent human beings.

"Notorious Haredi Cult Tries To Flee Canada For Sudan, Is Allegedly Arrested"

Oh, please.
Your illiteracy and your dishonesty are par for the course for you.
The quote from that article YOU misread:
"It appears Lev Tahor hired three buses and its members are staying in an Ontario hotel. Twik said the group apparently hopes to get to the southern United States, and ultimately to Sudan."

You must be reading another article or smoking something, because the article you linked says Iran not Sudan.
http://www.timesofisrael.com/suspected-jewish-child-abuse-cult-flees-quebec-homes/
I am sure you will say that It was Sudan before they changed to Iran and that OK.
In any case cursing is not nice...

I commented on the suggestion that the children be fostered by Christians so they will become 'decent' people.
Helbrans (or whatever his original name is) should get the electric chair!

James Deen –
You are an unmitigated ass.
I quoted the ORIGINAL article. You don't like that? Tell the Times of Israel to stop making errors.

To which I responded the way I did.
People like Wisler are a threat to Judaism no less than those who support molesters etc.

You have no problem with me suggesting the electric chair for Helbrans. Hmmmmmm?
Posted by: JekylJ | November 20, 2013 at 02:50 PM
JekylJ--Just a little problem i would suggest helbrans should taste the hell he put those around him through,by first getting his every bone in his body broken then he can get the electric chair let him be an example for others if they behave in that manner as helbran.

They are presently to be found in Windsor and
Chatam Ont. just across the river from Detroit, MI.

By the way, they blend in very well since Windsor is full of burkas.
