Leading Enabler Of Pedophiles Rabbi Yisroel Belsky Endorses Charles J. Hynes For D.A.
Rabbi Yosroel Belsky, the haredi "gadol" who has enabled haredi pedophiles in Brooklyn and Lakewood, including the two Kolkos, has just endorsed Charles J. Hynes for Brooklyn district attorney.
Please click to enlarge:
Note that none of these haredi rabbis – all leading members of Agudath Israel of America – said their non-profits, be they synagogues or yeshivas, do not endorse Hynes or any other candidate. There is no disclaimer at all – meaning the rabbis' endorsement is a violation of IRS regulations and could lead to their nonprofits losing tax exempt status.
This letter appears as an ad in today's Flatbush Jewish Journal, which is controlled by members of Agudath Israel of America, the haredi umbrella organization best known for ordering haredim to report child sex abuse to haredi rabbis – not to police – and for striking an apparently illegal deal with Hynes to allow them – not Hynes – to decide what cases of child sex abuse are brought to his office and which are not.
The front page of the same issue of the FJJ contains an endorsement from the FJJ itself of Hynes and Deutsch. Here's a key excerpt. Note the language highlighted in red:
Gee, might as well have said, "vote for Hynes, because Thompson will just treat everyone the same in the eyes of the law!"
incredible. I hope Thompson uses this in his campaign, as more evidence of why the crooked bum should be thrown out.

("Last Chance to Turn Around", Gene Pitney)
The rabbis of all Flatbush are supportin’, consorting’ with the man Hynes
Tonight that flock of mine will be yearnin’, learnin’ to vote my way
He helps us in our hour of need, we have to hang around
I’ll show him how we vote in a bloc
I’m getting’ out the vote (gettin’ out the vote)
We won’t back down (won’t back down)
We won’t back down (won’t back down)
Last election in Brooklyn
Last chance to stay out of stir
Last election in Brooklyn
Gonna keep these congregants of mine goin’ to the polls
So what if that DA is lyin’, he’s tryin’ to help us
And now all of his tears he’s cryin’, we’ll use ‘em, to scratch our backs
He swore that he’d let us commit crimes against our kids
No need to leave for parts unknown,
He’ll protect our skins (he’ll protect our skins)
With political spin (with political spin)
Just as he has been
Last election in Brooklyn
Last chance to stay out of stir
Last election in Brooklyn
Gonna keep these congregants of mine goin’ to the polls
Last election in Brooklyn
Last chance to stay out of stir

I'm surprised Belsky had time to endorse this letter. I figured he'd be too busy making sure Jews don't eat quinoa on passover

Hynes is still going to go down in the election, as did Kolko in last week in Ocean County Court.
Belsky will have supported two big-time losers, but he will still walk around as if he is untouchable.

In my experience Rabbonim that support
Abusers and crooks normally are themselves
Abusers or crooked
So what has this Rov got to hide ???
Has he abused, has he been involved in
Something crooked, I suppose time will tel,
Just watch this space

Isn't this endorsement extreme even by the corrupt standards of the Agudah and co? Is it not against the law, the implied intimidation: “we’ll know if you voted” sounds like the Soviet Union, with an implication that they may even know how you voted? Can’t anyone complain to the electoral commission or the Feds? Scary stuff.

He's supporting Hynes even after he went after his cousin Weberman?

The rabbis should support Hynes because of all his support for them. Hynes is also the right color.
The Rabbis should have realized that when their candidate did not win the democrat primary that the times they are a-changing.

This is interesting in terms of what it reveals in terms of what kinds of arguments have traction among the frumma thus revealing what they presumably believe to be true. That said, the NSA may know who voted however the KCDA - not quite yet.

Should I assume that Yossi is coordinating the fundraiser?

Sarek, I thought I knew secular music pretty well. I had to go to youtube to get familiar with that tune.

Forgive me for saying the obvious here, for using what has become a cliche, for my mind is so banged up I can't even get it around these stories any more, can't mutter anything but one line over and over:
Moshiach surely is coming soon.
