D.A.'s Campaign Releases Yiddish Ad Touting Hynes As Haredi Criminals' Savior

This would prompt an investigation in any 'normal' jurisdiction however in Brooklyn like in New Jersey everthing's legal as long as you don't get caught including looking the other way in molestation cases.

I wish some enterprising reporter with a pair, would do some research going back @ 35 years ago. Munkatch then stole about $20,000,000 (million) dollars through false Pell Grant applications. Russians etc.

They set up dummy Yeshivas and Congregations using the names of the books of his illustrious forebearers: Tiferes Bunim; Darkei Teshuva; Minchas Eluzur, etc. Real seforim phony entities.

So there was this televised Commission in Congress investigating this. I think it was the Church Commission. I remember seeing flipboards of varioius checks kited from one Munkatch school to another etc. and a senator asking all kinds of questions, where some took the 5th.

The Munkacher bought much Boro Park Real Estate from this stolen Govt. Money. Even after he settled with them , there was much left over.

The upshot of this was that his henchman who put his John Hancock on all the false documents -- and the shmuck got relatively nothing from it --- had to flee to Israel for 5 years till this died down. Now this Mr. S. Waldman , poor guy is dying from Lou Gherig's disease and can't breathe now without a machine.

But the Munkacher is breathing, alive and well, and lived to enjoy many other days.

An award in journalism is waiting for someone who knows how to dig in the archives, and bury this Rebbe-Crook once and for all.

Certainly this is a parody, a spoof, and not a genuine poster from the Hynes campaign.

Would the Hynes Camapaign really allow such a tasteless, controversial ad with such a terrible photo of Hynes himself?

And where is the mandatory disclosure info about the ad's provenance? Certainly the Hynes Campaign would take great care not to violate local, state and federal election law.

What's more, the "ad" comes from a site that features a companion image of Hynes' face morphing into that of a chicken. And the site, as noted, is named "from follies."
