The New York Law Journal reports:
…In an interview with the Law Journal on Monday, Hynes said "nothing has changed" from his primary election night decision. A run on the GOP and Conservative line would be "unrealistic," he said.
Since his defeat, he said he had gotten calls and emails asking him to keep running, but Hynes said his decision is "very firm." He said he was "flattered people are trying to persuade me, but they've been unpersuasive."

I would say Baruch Hashem, but I would be less inclined to praise someone who allowed this swine to perpetrate such evil against so many for so long.
