Incitement To Murder: Supreme Haredi Rabbinic Leader Tells Followers Yair Lapid Is Amalek
Shmarya Rosenberg • FailedMessiah.com
It is incitement to murder.
This Shabbat, Jews will read the Torah portion that contains the story of Amalek, the biblical archenemy of the Israelites and the paradigm for all enemies of the Jewish people since then.
Jews are commanded to remember what the biblical nation of Amalek tried to do to the Jews. Jews are also commanded to wipe out Amalek.
In rabbinic literature, that has been carried further, and enemies of the Jewish people from the biblical Haman to Adolph Hitler are seen as descendants of Amalek.
And now, so is Israel’s Finance Minister Yair Lapid.
Supreme Ashkenazi haredi leader Rabbi Aharon Leib Shteinman has now ordered haredim to have Lapid in their thoughts as they read the words ordering Jews to wipe out Amalek, Ynet reported.
Shteinman is not the first haredi rabbi to make this comparison, but he is the first to do so and to explicitly link it to wiping out Lapid.
The Torah section of Amalek is read twice each year, once related to Purim that fulfills the mitzvah (divine command) to remember Amalek and to pledge to wipe him out if he can be identified. The second as part of the normal Torah reading cycle and can serve as a make-up reading for the first under some circumstances. Because next year is a leap year in the Jewish calendar, and Jews would therefore go more than 12 lunar months without fulfilling that mitzvah, according to some halakhic opinions, Saturday’s reading should be used to fulfill the mitzvah of remembering Amalek and pledging to wipe him out, as well.
Shteinman also reportedly told his followers to think of Lapid and of Minister of Education Rabbi Shai Piron when they say Birkat HaMinim, which is said three times every weekday during the Amidah prayer, the most important prayer said by Jews.
One version of Birkat HaMinim reads: “…And let the arrogant government be speedily uprooted in our days. Let the notẓerim [idol worshippers; Christians] and the minim [Jewish sectarians; Jewish Christians] be destroyed in a moment. And let them be blotted out of the Book of Life and not be inscribed together with the righteous.…"

Yair you must be doing something right.

The Chofetz Chayim referred to the Yevsektsia (Jewish Communists) as descendants of Amalek. My uncle refers to the Red Sox as such.

Who is Amalek? We learn that too. We recognize Amalek by his behavior. Amalek attacks defenseless women, children, and the weak.
Who in our time does that? Who defends them?
My questions to the Rabbi.

It's not murder if a Great Old One tells you to do it.

The masses who follow this dazed looking rebbe are either under a hypnotic spell or tottaly out of their minds, its a pity that alot of the jews are so immature as to leave their minds for someone else to play with.

It was reported that Presidents Bush and Obama are 10th cousins. However for Europeans (and Obama is mixed race) you are bound to find one common ancestor in 8-11 generations.
If you go back 30 generations, it is likely that every European shares all his European ancestors.
It seems Ashkenazi Jews are generally fourth or fifth cousin of one another and that we only need to go back 700 years to have all our ancestors in common.
What this means is that one does not have to go too far back to reach the point were all the ancestors of the Chofetz Chayim, Yair Lapid, and the Yevsektsia are common.
If Amalek existed some 10,000 generations ago and lived to have even one descendent, then all Jews and probably most gentiles are descended from him.
So the Chofetz Chayim may have been correct to state that the Yevsektsia were descended from Amalek. However he should have added that so was he and nearly everyone else including the Red Sox.

'If Amalek existed some 10,000 generations ago' should of course be 100 generations ago

So what happens if someone makes an assassination attempt a la Rabin. Will this ancient piece of dog shit be arrested for incitement? If it happens this time maybe the lot of the Gedolim should be imprisoned!
Ooooy Toyreh, Toyreh, Toyreh, they are so scared of losing their hold on their mindless sheeple that they are going to get someone killed and then run around saying it was hashem's will. FUCK THEM ALL!

would be funny but not even close.
whats always disturbing and most ironic is that the same people who are supposedly most sure their god is watching and controlling everything and that their prayers to him have an influence on events, are never content to leave things in his hands.
if they were , i wouldnt care about pronouncements like this. the problem is that they dont really trust god to handle things they dont like. thats why there are stone throwing charedi terrorists, modesty thugs, the asra kadisha, and charedi attacks on little girls. is it really much of a stretch to imagine one or more loyal followers taking action to help god eliminate the current amalek? amalek is far worse than an 8 year old RZ girl.
so either shteinman is a complete moron who cant follow a simple progression, or he knows exactly what his words may lead to and is in effect calling for exactly that.
he should be forced to retract his words and apologize or be jailed immediately. in a civil society you can't call for someones murder as a religious leader and then claim innocence.

"Incitement to murder" is a stretch, as we do not kill amalek these days. Anyway, R. Shteinman is known as a moderate, so I don't believe he actually said it.

The local Chabad rabbi told me that he doesn't like it when people refer to the Haredi and Hasidim as "Ultra-Orthodox."
People forget how Rabbi JJ Hecht of Chabad encouraged people to murder Rabin over the peace talks.
By now, Hecht must be burning in the flames of Hell with his fellow religious fanatics.

"The local Chabad rabbi told me that he doesn't like it when people refer to the Haredi and Hasidim as 'Ultra-Orthodox.' "
Oh, my nephew pulls the same shit. "There's no such thing as 'Ultra-Orthodox'! There's only Yiddishkeit!" It's part of the indoctrination.
They're so full of crap.

"Incitement to murder" lol
now that SR Isnt religious anymore there is no need to worry that anyone would actually think they are supposed to murder anyone. The fact that he thinks rabbi Steinman is looking for murder is truly scary for him and laughable for everyone else.

Moshe Zucker.
I may not be reading your cryptic post correctly, but are you suggesting that the Bible does not demand Jews dash the heads of baby Amalek against rocks and kill the women, children, old ladies, and yes also the men?
Posted by: Account Deleted | August 16, 2013 at 07:13 AM
Pard, as I recall, with Amalek they weren't even allowed to keep the underage girls for themselves.
Posted by: Jeff | August 16, 2013 at 08:25 AM
Pard,
you read my message wrong. I am simply saying that SR is from the VERY few people in the world that might actually try to kill Lapid because he was called amelek (which is a figure of speech obviously) so, good thing he isn't religious anymore, one less "yigal amir" that cant understand simple nuances.
