Balloons, clowns, juggling ... it will certainly lead to mixed dancing. It is not sufficient to close the restaurant. It, and the entire city block that it has contaminated, should be razed to the ground.
And even that would not be enough ....

The mental misfits are at it again, they have nothing to do all day just ruminate on absolute s supidity.

These are the dangers of generations of inbreeding.....they just get uglier and more stupid each generation.

That is the Modesty Squad? It looked like 4 mental patients. The one on the end was holding the pole as though he may have a had a few drinks.
The police chased them away. Not much of a story there.

Apologies to: Scenes from an Italian Restaurant by Billy Joel:
A kiddish on white, a kiddish on red,
Perhaps a bottle of oy vey instead.
We'll read our Bible near the street
In our old heimische place
You and I - face to face hm, hm
A kiddish on red, a kiddish on white
It all depends on chumra narishkeit
I'll meet you any time you want
In our Immodest Restaurant.
Things are okay with me these days
I got no job, I got no prospects
I got a third wife, got a no life
And the rebbe is fine
Oy, we lost touch long ago
Your beard grew - I did not know
you could ever look so frum after so much time.
Do you remember those days hanging out at the pizza scene?
Borsalino hats, black jackets and the rabbis beamed
Oy you drop a dime in the box play a song of little boys screaming
Cold borscht, hot kishka, my sweet romantic teenage shiksa ooy, ooy
Oy, oy, oy, oy…..
Brocha and Avi were the shidduchs already
And the king and the queen of the frum
Riding around with his hat pulled down and Daf Yomi on
Nobody looked more holy
Or was more of a hit at the Parkway Kollel
We never knew we could want more than that out of life
Surely Brocha and Avi would always schnorr to survive.
Oy, oy, oy, oy…..
Brocha and Avi were still being "redded" in the summer of 2001
When they decided the chuppa would be after Tisha B'Av.
Everyone said that's meshugeh
"Brocha you know that you're not too machmer
and Avi could never afford to live that kind of life."
Oy, but there we were wavin' Brocha and Avi goodbye.
Oy, oy, oy
Well they got an apartment with section 8 checks
And a couple of paintings of "beards"
A big waterbed and some pas yisroel bread
They had sold before Pesach last year
but they started to fight when authorities got wise
And with all their accounts in arrears.
Oy, oy nu challah rolls!
Oy, oy, oy
Well, they lived for a while in a very frum style
But it's always the same in the end
They got a good get so the rabbis won't fret
And they parted like chevrusa friends
Then the bocher and maidel returned the kid's cradle
But you could never get money back then
Oy, oy
Brocha and Avi had had it all sloppy by the summer of 2001
From the frum to the frei to hello and goodbye
For the schlep of their lives
They couldn't go back to the shadchan
The best they could do was pick up their bodkins
We always knew they would both find a way to get by
Oy and that's all I heard about Brocha and Avi
Can't tell you more; it's loshon harah, rabbi
And here we are wavin' Brocha and Avi goodbye
Oy, oy, oy
Oy, oy, oy
Oy, oy, oy
Yeah
A kiddish on red, a kiddish on white,
Whatever kind of wine that'll cause a fight
I'll meet you anytime you want
In our Immodest Restaurant.

Obviously Moshe's did not bribe these abominations appropriately. I'm glad the cops shooed this vermin away. If I were Moshe's owner, I'd take the little boys aside and assure them that either they leave and never return or their brains would be littering the sidewalk.

Too bad Moishe's is going to be assur. Where can people go? No outlets for their stressful life. They might have to get a contraband internet device and watch a netflix movie in the closet! Oy vey!

Oh, thanks. I always wondered what mental patients look like.
Posted by: dh | June 25, 2013 at 12:51 PM
If they were Chabad, they'd be Mendel patients.
Posted by: Yochanan Lavie | June 25, 2013 at 01:05 PM
LOL, Yochanan! So they are Mendel-ly ill!?

What makes a kosher restaurant "goyish" and "immodest"? The clown in the picture (as opposed to the clowns demonstrating) was fully covered. He or she wore a sheitel. I don't recall commandments in Leviticus about balloons. Juggling balls seems similar to Talmudic logic. And how is a magic show different from Kabbalah teachings?

LOL!

"Juggling balls seems similar to Talmudic logic."
It's too suggestive; it gets the ladies all worked up (also a fair number of rabbonim).

Thanks chevra.

Perhaps the Charedim are coulrophobic (have a phobia of clowns).
It could relate to the Charedim being trapped in a perpetual child-like state.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coulrophobia
"According to a psychology professor at California State University, Northridge, young children are "very reactive to a familiar body type with an unfamiliar face".[5] Researchers who have studied the phobia believe there is some correlation to the uncanny valley effect.[6]"
