The Times Of Israel Rips Off FailedMessiah.com And The New York Post
Over the past few months, the Times of Israel stole much of the stories surrounding the Rabbi Chaim Halpern London sex abuse scandal from the British haredi blog IfYouTickleUs and from FailedMessiah.com. Now the Times of Israel has stolen another story – this one from FailedMessiah.com and the New York Post.

On April 23, 2013 FailedMessiah.com published the Bobov 48 yeshiva's ban on thick plastic-framed eyeglasses – in essence a ban on "Woody Allen"-style eyeglasses – posting a copy of the ban in full.
The next day, VIN reported the story, citing FailedMessiah.com as its source.
On May 12, 2013 – last Sunday – the New York Post reported the story and credited FailedMessiah.com as its source. It also added that opticians were seeing a noticiable uptick in returns of thick-framed plastic eyeglasses since the ban was issued.
Today, the Times of Israel reported the story but credited no one for it – an outright theft, pure, simple and very dishonest.
Here is that Times of Israel story in its entirety:

Brooklyn yeshiva bans hipster glasses
Rabbis request that students exchange retro-style thick-rimmed specs for more modest, plain-looking eyewear

An Orthodox Jewish school in Brooklyn has banned students from wearing thick-rimmed glasses, claiming that the retro-styled specs pose a serious threat to traditional Jewish values.
Parents of students at Borough Park’s Bobover Yeshiva B’Nei Zion were kindly asked to refrain from supplying their children with heavy framed spectacles, and asked instead to provide wire-framed glasses, which are apparently much better suited for good Jewish boys.
“We are asking that everyone buy simple glasses,” read a letter issued to the parents. “What we have to commit ourselves to is we have to stand on top of this and not tolerate the new modernism.”
The yeshiva’s heads warned of the dangers posed by society’s current norms, and observed that thick rims give children a “very coarse look” indeed.
“The good deed that accompanied the Jews in Egypt was that they didn’t change their names and clothes, and this same strength is still accompanying us and maintaining us in exile — in all generations,” the letter explained.
Parents were asked to exchange the “immodest” frames and told that the expense should be viewed as an “educational boost.”
Local eyewear shops in the area have already reported a leap in exchanges of glasses worn by heathen such as Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift, for more modest, wiry pairs of specs.

So, what did Stealin' Sterman have to say about this?

Oh wait, I forgot. He's reading this. Hey, Stealin' Sterman, you are a stinkin' stealin' sos. Really, then, what's the point? If you can't get a job doing anything else, come to the USA and become a contractor for Chabad.

Its a good thing that Fai1edMessiah doesn't copy stories from other news source. All his stories are reported and uncovered by Shmarya himse1f.

Jake / David, I have decided you are really Shmarya sockpuppeting. He's here when you're here, he knows when you've been naughty and he knows when you've been nice.... and he ain't Santa. So, Shmarya, busted!

See, Jake / David, you have a 'tell.' When you refer to Shmarya or FM (wink wink) you couldn't help making the 'l' a '1' as in 'one.' Spill it, Jake / David.... you're really Shmarya, aren't you?
