Baruch Dayan ha-Emet.
(Here in Australia they have the oddest greeting for mourners, "we wish you long life." Or just plain(mumbled) "long life." No one can tell me from where it comes and I've now been asking 17 years.)
In any event, I wish that poor little boy and his grandparents too a long life. What a way to step into heaven, by car service.

That is the purpose of this post. Let the mad dogs of this blog find a way to twist this into an anti-haredi story.
Shmarya sets the stage opens the cage throws in the meat and the wild and angry retirees tear away.
I don't know if this went over anyone's head but Shmarya would put a "Baruch dayan Emet" in the headline of a story if he does not want you to criticize and leaves it out if he wants his hassidim to rip it apart.
So far it looks like they are not taking his bait.

It's the first story on msn.com and links to VIN in the fourth sentence, in case you care to know things like the baby survived, etc.

To LL Pippa
How low can you get???
She died tragically.
Even Shmarya isn't twisting this into a haraidi bashing.

The frumma trolls can't stand it when you don't insult them. Fits their self image of always being under the boot.
BTW you trolls, look at the comments on that CBS article, and you will see what nonJews really think of you. They know what liars, cheaters, and crooks you are. You're not fooling anyone with your pious act. And the comments about that hat, well, not today.

RIP. I find this life event so disturbing. As the Rabbi is quoted as saying 'Only the good are taken early', I hope these words comfort the family and community. They appear to be kind souls, who seemed very dignified and content. May their baby's heart be forever filled with joy and love. My heartfelt condolences from Sydney, Australia.

WoolSilkCotton;
You hit the nail on the head. No matter what the story is, the haredi trolls just cannot stop detesting normal people, even when nobody said anything they will find fault with this site.

Folks - is this really the time and place to feed the trolls? Even if the trolls don't have the decency to show some respect, it doesn't mean we have to get into the pig pen with them.
Posted by: Abracadabra | March 03, 2013 at 08:28 PM
Maybe Shmarya could embarrass the Satmar bros into reconciling. Then they can both work on what the niftar was asked today: "Were you honest in your business dealings?"
Posted by: sadness | March 03, 2013 at 11:03 PM
It's so sad why there is so much hatred...from both sides. We forget the G-d loves us all and he wants us to love one another.
This story is so sad and should bring us together. There is enough sadness in the world.
In Zechus of love we should merit the Geulah Sheleimah wher ALL OF US should be united in Yerushalayim with eternal love and happines.
Posted by: Deena | March 04, 2013 at 12:24 AM
WoolSilkCotton, your comment saddened me. I cannot judge you as I don't know you, perhaps you have reason for being resentful about the Chassidic community but I hope one day you can learn to love rather than hate.
I did that.... (I'm originally ultra Chassidic from Willy-, and am modern Chassidic today...can explain if you wish as it's a pretty new term :-) )
About the comments.....
The comments on that site do not represent what the non-Jews think of us. I have read the dailymail and other websites and have only seen comments of respect and sympathy.
So if I want to see what non-Jews think of us I'd rather choose those comments that come from people who are respectful and decent. Normal people do not choose a time of great tragedy to post hateful comments no matter how true they may be.
I do not want to believe that those vile comments represent non-Jews. My non-Jewish friends are all respectful and wonderful and such comments would hurt them.
This is an unspeakable tragedy and I hope we can learn from this to love instead of hate and be respectful instead of resentful. It is not always easy but at the end, love conquers all.
