So now you're a comedian...

Reconstruction costs money, and if he can't be reconstructed well enough, money can be used to attract a mate and if needed in vitro fertilization. You are a troll, surely.

The damage is unfortunately done, but money goes a long, long way to ease his future.

Yeah mimi, money will fix the kid's - and the man's - penis.

Thanks, Office-

I'm glad to hear there is insurance around for that. People are people, and make mistakes.

Making it a taboo to compare male with female
sexual mutilation is the biggest scandal of the controversy.
In both instances the most sensitive and most erogenous zone
of the human body is amputated and severely damaged. In both
instances, what counts primarily is the cutting of human
sexuality. The imposition of control by the patriarchy. A
good look at a book on embryology will show the development of
the nerves and tissue and how they are the same. Subjeting an infant to the procedure constitutes infant abuse of the cruelest kind, psychologically it drives feat into the infant and injures its relationship to its mother. The fellating aspect of the procedure - the metzitzah - in the Jewish ritual points to its homosexual aspect, as does its exclusion of women.

What is lacking in all the talk about circumcision is
discussion of itsarcheological dimension - that it is the left
over of human sacrifice. What kind of god is it that demands
that of an infant? If the Bris constitutes the identity of the
male, what about the identity of a Jewish girl? Or is this an
entirely homosexual ceremony?

Also, unfortunately it is / has been circumcision
that has MADE for no end of anti-semitic sentiments. Freud
found that it was the chief reason for unconscious
anti-Semitism. And the myths surrounding it are at the core of
the “blood libel.” Thus, it's time to eliminate the Brit Milah
because if that is the chief reason for being anti-Semitic or
anti-Abrahamic [Islam too practices the rite] then why hang on
to this left-over of human sacrifice? that traumatizesthe
child, cutting off 5,000 nerves, that is the equivalent of
female circumcision in the sense that it eliminates everything
but the clitoris, and only serves the UltraOrthodox to maintain
their power? After all, reform Judaism sought to eliminate the
rite in the 19th century, and Jewish identity depends on being
born by a Jewish mother, or converting. Here a link to an
archive of the entire German and then some debate, note
especially Michael Wolffsohn's two pieces . Circumcision has
been controversial also within Jewry forever.

Jewish ritual circumcision: medically unnecessary & performed on the gentialia of a minor, a baby no less, one wholly unable to consent.

The only reasonable position: abolition of the practice.

In a case such as this (unwarranted, totally avoidable, mutilation of the gentialia of a baby, and consequent damage to the psyche of a person newly brought into this world): the incompetent "mohel" ought to be publicly executed.

Orthodox Jewish practices remain a laughable, anachronistic freak-show.
Truly sickening and indefensible.

Is he doing MBP or is he performing a bris with his teeth? Can't tell by the picture.

Poor kid. I had an Iranian friend who had a botched brit. He had to go to the US as a kid to have it fixed. Turned out, it couldn't be fixed and he couldn't father kids, which when he became old enough, got around on the Persian marriage market. Because he was " deformed" and couldn't have kids, no family wanted him for their daughters, no matter that he was one of the kindest, nicest and sweetest men ever. Jewish law says no deformed men so he suffered intensely, ruined his self esteem totally.
Poor kid.

25 or 30 years ago a mohel told me that half of his usual fee went to pay his malpractice insurance.

Just Google "circumcision damage" to see that unintended effects are VERY common when attempting cosmetic surgery on a tiny baby.

Informed adults can decide for themselves.

Doctors do make mistakes, and they carry hefty insurance for it. I don't know if there is mohel insurance.

Also, at a hospital there would have been no delay in attempting to fix the problem.

This is why medical procedures should be performed by physicians, not witch doctors

Are circucisions done in hospitals botched like this one was? What's the occurance of botched circumcisions done by medical professionals in the USA? Are those done by a mohel any better or any worse in terms of mistakes?
