Ethiopian students at the Zionist Orthodox boarding school in the Kfar Hasidim agricultural Youth Village near Haifa are being segregated, the Jerusalem Post reported based on an Army Radio exposé.

The Ethiopian students are put into a separate Ethiopian-only learning track with Ethiopian-only classes.

“It is something we have become used to; that those students who are considered the best, the Israelis, receive the best education. [We don’t,]” an Ethiopian student at the school told the station.

The CEO of the Israeli Association for Ethiopian Jews, Ziva Mekone-Degu reportedly said she was "outraged" by the Army Radio report because the IAEJ contacted the school and the Ministry of Education about the segregation at the beginning of this school year and was told in response that the segregation had been ended.

What's really funny to menus that in Nigeria, the Igbo people's are beginning to claim a Jewish identity. There are between 90 to 125 million of them. And there are some historical connections which have begun to lead scholars to accept their identity claims.

Now, imagine what 90 million West African Jews, who don't want to move to Israel, who have their own oil, would do to the bossy Haredim, busy with deciding who is in and who is in and who is out, like a bunch of 12 year old girls? You could apply the same arguments to the Welsh, a supposed lost tribe of Israel, but I doubt that would be fashionable as the Welsh are white. No-one in their right mind would accept the Welsh as halachically Jewish and neither would they accept the Igbo as halachically Jewish. Infact, the Taliban or Pashtun have a sounder claim of Jewish heritage!
