Right Wing Pol Promises To “Take Care Of” Chabad Hasidim
"[Our victory] will lead to more values-based education, to welfare, to a
strengthening of the Torah seed groups (gar'inim), to stimulating the
[West Bank] settlement drive, and of course, I will take care of the
Chabad Hassidim.”
Right Wing Politician Promises To “Take Care Of” Chabad Hasidim

Rabbi Hillel Horowitz holds the number 13 spot on the HaBayit HaYehudi political party’s Knesset list.
Horowitz has close ties to Chabad hasidim through work that he does in the West Bank town of Hebron, which has a Chabad connection going back close to 200 years.
Horowitz and HaBayit HaYehudi’s chairman, Naftali Bennett (whose first exposure to Orthodox Judaism came from attending a Chabad summer camp when he was child), are actively campaigning at Chabad houses across Israel in the hope that their right wing Zionist Orthodox party will get Chabad’s votes eleven days from now when Israel holds its national elections.
Horowitz promises those he meets that if HaBayit HaYehudi wins enough Knesset seats, it will be able to have real influence on public education and West Bank settlement policy.
"We will lead to more values-based education, to welfare, to a strengthening of the Torah seed groups (gar'inim), to stimulating the [West Bank] settlement drive, and of course, I will take care of the Chabad Hasidim,” Horowitz told Arutz Sheva yesterday.
Chabad theology is vehemently opposed to ceding land for peace, no matter how secure the peace treaty. It has no political party of its own. However, its adherents overwhelmingly support right of center political parties. Leading Chabad figures poured money and political support into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's campaign in 1996 using the slogan, "Bibi is good for the Jews."
Shouldn't be a surprise that this Far Right settler party would seek Chabad votes or be in bed with them.

this guy shares more with chabad.
it was recently reported in haaretz:
"Mysterious 'adviser on settlement affairs' no. 13 on Habayit Hayehudi slate
The city council was never told what Rabbi Hillel Horowitz's job description was, nor did it ever receive any information on what, if anything, he had done since taking the job in May 2010."
he collected a salary & never showed up to work.
what upper nazaret has to do with settlements, nobody knows!
