Caught On Video: The Rabbis Who Signed The Pronouncement Against Me Will Suffer Horrible Deaths, Outreach Rabbi Turned Politician Says
Rabbi Amnon Yitzhak, the flamboyant outreach rabbi who formed a political party to compete with the Sefardi haredi Shas party and who has been roundly attacked by leading Sefardi rabbis for doing so, is caught on tape saying that all of those rabbis who signed a public pronouncement against him will suffer "mitam meshuna," will die painful, agonizing, deaths from horrible illnesses and injuries, presumably as Divine punishment for attacking him.
Yitzhak says it at about 5:25 into the video:
[Hat Tip: Burich.]

You can't accuse him of lacking self-confidence.
Out of curiousity, what do the polls say about his chances?

why? is anybody considering voting for him?

He is speaking out against people who he feels slandered him and used a very nasty language against him. He is particularly angered about people whom he helped in the past and now they are at the forefront among those signing these letters. Watch the whole clip or at least from about 4:40 to get a clearer picture of what he is trying to say.
PS. Taking things out of context and out of their cultural context doesn't serve to increase understanding.

He also compares himself to "Yosef Hatzadik" saying that his brothers hated him, but later on begged him for forgiveness.
In my mind, rabbanim have no place in the politics of a country. Rabbanim are turning Judaism into the Catholic Church, complete with a Papacy ("Gadol Hador") and political positions. Rabbanim should get out of the government and stay in the Beis Medrash.

The only rational minded Rabbi in this generation is Rabbi Steinzaltz. You'll never see him involved in politics like these clowns. Spewing off memorizes citations is not the definition of genious or brilliance. Rain man maybe, but not a Gadol.

Caught On Video:
The words "Caught On Video" are a bit misleading. It has connotations that Rabbi Amnon didn't want this video to get out, but somehow we were able to get hold of it and reveal it.
That is misleading.
This video was produced by Rabbi Amnon, and it was released to the public by Rabbi Amnon. This rabbi knows exactly how to play the public with his videos. Everything he says at his speeches is intentional, and meant for the wider public. Nothing was "caught".
As an avid follower of Israeli politics, I must say that Rabbi Amnon did a brilliant job this election cycle in getting his name out there. He has put himself on the map and he will only benefit in the future. Shas made a mistake in even acknowledging his existence, as they have now made Rabbi Amnon a viable alternative. I don't know how many votes he will end up receiving, but he has become the talk of all of Israel, he is the most colorful politician right now (sucked the air out of Aryeh Deri's return to politics), and he will be a person to reckon with in Israeli politics going forward.
Brilliant!

Hashy, Rabbi Steinzaltz is a megalomane who maybe still 'the president' of the farcical sanhedrin.
There is no doubt that amnon yitzhak is a fraud, and couldn't be even described as a giant among pricks (despite his girth).

THIS POST IS A LIE!!!
You got to brush up on your Hebrew.
He said that 3 people who organized the signing (Revach, Memran, and Krispel) will suffer, not the Rabanim.
He goes on to defend the Rabanim, and says how many Rabanim were threatened to sign, and that the newspapere were forced to place the letter, or they will be labeled as "DEGADING MARAN". There were also forgeries of some signatures.

this idiot is a fraud and a gross distorter of judaism.
as he is running for office, he told a reporter on tv (amnon cohen if i am not mistaken) that he doesn't believe in democracy, that he never voted and that he will note in these elections either.

The attacks upon R, Yonasan Eybeschutz by R. Yaacov Emden ultimately caused cynical Jews to leave Torah Judaism in droves. The cycle of golus behavior never ends......

his capped head, has the silhouette of a 'prick' complete with a prepuce! 4 seats in the knesset could be described as
גבעת הערלות
"the hill of the foreskins"
